if you're very laggy you can also use them the reverse, going into a trapdoor and logging off before rubberbanding. Confuses the client/server so login may take a couple extra seconds but 50/50 you end up inside.

It works pretty smoothly for me, besides the "Wait a little bit before relogging." I found it out while tunneling, I got dc'd while I was in a water, and it sent me to the surface when I came back. I was like "wth I was strip mining."
