Villager breeding

Allow villager breeding for a short amount of time to allow for the economy to be stimulated, more players to get villager access, and more. Additionally, with mob spawn rate being buggy due to various plugins, getting zombie villagers to convert is extremely hard.

A different idea that accomplished essentially the same thing:

Enable villager breeding in the wild world only so that any farms are griefable.

I don't think this is a good idea UNLESS it is only turned on in the "WILD ONLY". But i do agree that either a short time only!

However, that being said, there is a much easier solution to the Villager/Economy problem.... Its just put the villager egg in the /warp shop for like 50k (no less than 50k), or maybe 100k.

We had eggs in the shop for a time and it didn't work very well.

As for breeding, it just needs to be a decreased rate. There's only a handful of players now with villagers, so they have a monopoly on the markets for those items, so to speak.

Breading is just not a good solution for the economy, though I do agree the something should be done about the current and unfixable monopoly.

By unfixable monopoly I mean without any changes by "admins" no amount of hard work or effort by a normal player will make a difference.

Yes, before villagers eggs were 2k (of course there was a problem) put them at 50K or 100K (There will be no problem).

We just need a way to get "NEW" villagers. Currently, there is no way possible at all! This will not only fix the "villager monopoly" it will also assist in reducing the daily increasing economy!

As for breeding, it just needs to be a decreased rate.

It's not a "theory" it would be a fact. The "egg" methods is an INFINITE times better ECONOMICAL decision then turning on breading! (I'm going to bed but if you need to give the details and facts of why; I will be happy to explain in on discord when you are ready).

For 50-100k an egg you will never end someone’s monopoly on villagers. I suggested breeding for a short time (that is not known to the community) so that more villagers will be made, and people will be more likely to sell villagers/access.

I’ll be honest, the chance of getting a librarian or blacksmith from one villager egg is pretty slim, and no one will pay for a villager egg if they’ll get a nimwit that can’t be used at all.

Bring it back to my suggestion though, I just thought it was the best solution. You can make a dif thread if you want to suggest villager eggs in the shop again

Imo, villagers should be completely removed, they don't give anything that can't be obtained some other way.

FIRSTLY kill all the current villagers in towny. It is extremely unfair that only a select few players have them and no other players will be able to acquire them in the same way the original players did.

Now to the suggestion

Villager breeding in towny sounds like one of the worst ideas possible.

Thes statements are not 100% factual, "eventually" the eggs will end the monopoly on villagers, it will just take a long time and cost lots of money (money that is removed from the eco so WIN). However, I do agree that the monopoly is very unfair and without any changes, there is no way to even try to overcome it.

They can be used for "head farming" and that is the "risk" you take when investing in villager trade ( i mean the only other option is to not even have an egg/villager at all, which is how it is currently). I mean don't miss understand, sure turn on breeding I don't give an F. Why?

Because as soon as you turn them on, I will have 1,000+ FOR FREE and so will everyone else (by free I mean not buying eggs and removing money from the eco).

This all is DIRECTLY relevant to your original suggestion. Not only is it facts, it is the perfect reasoning on why the idea of "breeding" (even if a short time) is not a good one. Though i do agree if this was implemented, it should ONLY be in the wild world (at a reduced breeding rate), and ALL current towny Villagers should be killed!

Denied for towny. Villager breeding currently works in the wild world where villagers can be raided by other players.
