Black boxes don’t call anyone, nor do they play messages, they just emit pings within a few miles radius.
Now onto the actual post, I don’t have any othet words other than « lol ». He received an « SOS signal by an anonymous person by
mail.
I mean come on, I’ve received several mails of anonymous Nigerian princes asking me to help deliver some gold in exchange for money, but I don’t go around posting it on the internet claiming I’m rich. Just think about it. If you were a survivor, and somehow managed to charge your phone after over three years - if somehow it survived impact and being submerged by water - would you send an email anonymously to one guy? Why haven’t we heard about other people?
The frequency for International Air Distress is 121.5MHz, and 243MHz, though I don’t see a ferrite bar antenna on his phone.
