I had a suggestion coming up about this

Rather than Vote armor, vote sword, vote bow, vote pvp potion X, and all that, it would be really cool to earn these from killing players. Was thinking something tentatively along the lines of "blood crates" where every time you kill someone in terrarium/towny/wild or whatever you have a chance to get a "blood crate key" or whatever. Rather than just add a "you voted, have free stuff!" It should rely on you killing players for it.
This would be great for a couple reasons. Firstly, the kind of people to use such items (people like viper) would get them, and be able to sell them as collectibles to people who don't use such items regularly (people like bloodyghost) who love collectibles.

Note this is very exploitable and would have to go on some sort of timer

Here's a few good ones to add:

The Blade of Justice: Neat-o sword with sharp6 but no fire aspect

XYZ's Vengeful Edge: Neat-o axe that gives you 110% damage given or resistance I.

Diana's Wrath: Power (4?) god bow that heals half a heart for you every time you land a hit

Lucky Rum: Damage 120% Resistance 80% or the like. this wouldn't really need to be drinkable

Holy Water: Heal III (maybe 4) + absorption 5 (full row of golden hearts) this would need to be drinkable

I really like this idea I wonder why the weapon was never added in the first place?

I like this idea as well but not many people pvp like they used to. Terrarium is hardly ever in use these days. Maybe this could spark a new revolution into the pvp world? I have no idea considering I don't pvp.

yes. Ideally this means people who frequently pvp and people who can pvp are both fighting, at least more frequently. Would also help the god armor, god sword, potion, and god bow economies.

Maybe instead of an "all-the-time" kind of thing this would work best as some kind of Friday night event/contest

yea famous the ideas are cool but the admins have some allergic reactions to nbt data and command blocks because ya know. (btw the only people who can place, break, open, edit or even interact with command and structure blocks are ops so yea dont give me that crap about it "falling into the wrong hands" ffs it can only be obtained via cheats or inventory editor)

That’s why I thought It’d be cool if there would be a ‘kitpvp crate’ in kitpvp. Not many people pvp anymore in towns and in terrarium, so I think this would be so much better in kit.

(What would be even more interesting is if kills in kit could earn you keys which then you can use to open a crate . . .)

kitpvp should be balanced. I made an entire thread about balancing kit xD
having some people with cool items is all well and good until it ruins kitpvp completely because some guy has a gravity sword or something similarly overpowered

If you mean kills in kit translating to rewards in towny, cool idea. If you mean kills in kit translating to kit, definitely not. Changes in kit should be mostly cosmetic and balanced (so new players actually have a chance)

As far as "not many people pvp anymore" the idea I placed was intended to revive towny/terrarium pvp

It occured to me that that would be too overpowering, but as for the crate idea on your original thread I made a post there about temporary buffs/items like pots a while back.

I like the idea of adding a sword. Completes the already in place rewards with other tools. +1

Also, as @FamousZAmos said, KitPVP should be looked into. If we can make a better PVP experience then I think we have a good chance at brining in that demographic. Maybe an area in the KitPVP server for regular Kit PVP and OP PVP (since those are the two main types). It is my personal opinion that the servers to be successful in the future are the ones who can best manage multiple types of gameplay -- from Towny to Skyblock, Halo to KitPVP, and so on.

As far as the actual thread (since my response was a bit off-the-tracks) MASSIVE -1 vote tools have already absolutely decimated the god tool market, god swords and bows are the only things left to sell. Admin shops and vote crates spoon-feeding us is minimally helpful, and it really harms ebook sellers (and sellers of whatever there's admin shops for) -1

-1 All stuff like this in my opinion needs removing. It's hurting the economy so much it's unbelevable. The amount of people I've heard say that they run their towns, fund their projects with vote money and they're using vote tools/amour. It's hurt the price of god items and is pumping so much money into the economy. I'm a big -1 for this

In all seriousness is this the last diamond item used for pvp/gathering, which demands player mined diamonds to be obtainable?. Need to have reasons for dimonds.

not even worth trying to kill him as he'd be the only using the blood crate idea zamos has

and even so, if just added into the crate, the price of normal god swords would really decrease, seeing how god tools decreased in price due to its market growing from vote tools
