Yeah those are jobs but good luck getting any of them.
English teacher is fairly common, but you'd need a separate degree in education to do those.
The world only needs so many Film Directors and Social media managers.
Some of those jobs you're also very unlikely to get with a writing degree, if you want to be a Marketing Executive a business administration degree would be much better, and for journalism get a journalism degree.
A generic "writing" degree with no other qualifications is fairly useless.

Also listing PPC specialist on there is pretty pathetic, they're literally just the people who write clickbait ads.

My degree is English Language and Literature. A writing degree is Creative Writing.

I said going to university was pointless for me, not my actual degree. I did English because I enjoy it and studying it made me happy. Studying English gives you a lot of transferable skills that can help in any job I want to go for. Yes, some of those I currently can't get into because I would need further study or experience (plus I don't want to right now as I have a great job that I am really enjoying), but my point wasn't discussing jobs I wanted to go into. You made the point that no jobs are available to people with degrees in English (language and) Literature when clearly there are.

However, my life is not yours to judge; I made a tongue in cheek comment on a thread. I'm happy with my degree, not that I went to university. If you'd like me to expand on that then I would be more than happy to in a private message as this is drastically changing the subject of the original thread. Please don't comment on things you don't know the context to.

No, I made the point that there are few or no jobs for people who have a degree SOLELY in writing or literature. I never said it couldn't be useful in combination with a more practical degree.

Those are two very different things, a degree from a university is a much more intensive process and yields a more valuable degree, a degree from ITT tech or an online school like that is a lot less likely to get you a job. (Yes, I know ITT tech shut down)
