Introduction: Hello readers !
My name is [REDACTED], but I’m known as Achrow within the community and I am from the UK.
I have played Meepcraft for many years now and I have come to the decision that it is time for me to contribute and help the server, which is why I have written this application. I also believe this experience would allow me to develop my building skills further.
The things I enjoy the most about Meep are playing everyday, building diverse projects, talking with friends and newcomers and mining on my own. But minecraft is not my only hobby: I also have a passion for art, philosophy and psychology. Though art is not a way of expressing my emotions through something material, but is more of a way to escape, and get lost in either a drawing, or in the case of Minecraft, a build. It is a way for me to improve my passion for drawing, by creating something realistic, aesthetically pleasing and impressive with my pencil, or something new and ambitious as a build.
I have a great love for psychology since i always wanted to know what people were like, and what they were thinking. And in the future i hope to use this skill and hobby to help people. It is also a way for me to relate to people who, like me and many other people have experienced some difficulties in life.
My interest in philosophy started as a young child, I took an interest in existential questions, which couldn’t be answered by science, but were answered by different beliefs in philosophy.
I have had the privilege to travel the world and experience other cultures and different lifestyles which have bettered me as a person and expanded my culture. Travelling has allowed me to gather a lot of architectural knowledge which I try to introduce in my Meepcraft builds.
Another passion of mine is my love for animals, which began when, while on a trip in Greece, I was shocked to witness about two hundred unsheltered stray cats, and naturally tried to feed and help them. This event has pushed me to get a four-legged friend of my own, and though I love him, he is a lot of responsibility - as many of you may know. I’m pretty sure we’re in a love - hate relationship.
Why should you be Architect? I should be Architect for the server because i have been around for years and i have grasped onto the rules and what Architects do. I am great at apprehending each characteristic of a type of build and the theme. I am now very familiar with Voxel/worldedit which could benefit the server and its future builds hugely instead of having someone with less experience. I am a very visually creative person and have a buzzing and unique building quality of a nordic style. I can Adapt to each theme of building. I love building in Minecraft it is a way to project my thoughts or to project my ideas into something which is 3 dimensional virtually. And I think a great quality an Architect should have is passion which I have a-lot of. The main thing about art is peoples views and I would feel like a true artist if you let a player view my creation of a map or a terrain.
I try my best with every build even if this means taking hours on end I try to make sure it looks great.
I love building and I think with the knowledge, creativity and passion I could make a very good Architect.
I have burning Ideas which i would love to put to action with my building and I am always learning new ways to build. In terms of knowledge I know about how to contrast blocks to make different but good builds. I know how to blend colours and have a fairly good artistic view on what colours match and what colours don’t. All my builds will be very detailed and each build will be brought to life.
I have very good listening skills, i constantly ask for feedback and criticism so i know how to improve. I can do interior and exterior to large buildings which brings in major detail. I use composition and placement of blocks to make a beautiful building and I believe I can make friends easily which is another huge reason I could be an asset to the team Since after all teamwork is one of the key and most important things a builder should have.
What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? I have builds spread throughout the server and some of my modern building work was in a town called Meepcity (Nuker’s town) but when it fell most of it was blown to pieces or ruined. Most of my builds are located in Falkreath town and on my creative plot. I have also done buildings on my singleplayer worlds. I wish i took more pictures of my builds before the reset. The buildings I am most proud of are in my small medieval village, Otherwise in my creative plot too.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: The mountain I built was made by Voxel and was originally meant to be a CTF map but I couldn't access the private server i used to build anymore.
Thank you for taking the time to review my application!
How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? I know how to use Voxel very well by a previous friends which helped me but also I learned by using it casually. I know how to work World edit but i still think there is room for improvement! I have a very good eye for symmetry and how landscape on Minecraft should look on the whole which gives me an advantage on how to use both of these tools. I have good understanding of the tools and I am very creative when it comes to making something with them! I can also make landscapes from scratch as well as using Voxel/worldedit.
