Its all about typing patterns and just being judgey cause you "think" hes younger than he says

It is absolutely ridiculous and its stupid that one of the more insignificant details on an application, which is age, not affected by anything else, is holding him up

It does ask and we hope for truthful applications. It is not required for the applicant to verify age in a thread.

Anyways, the age of an applicant isn’t extremely important as long as they are mature enough to handle the task. And if the applicant is in fact lying, it also is extremely easy to roughly guess one’s age through his actions in-game and his voice.

It’s not just for a question of identity theft, but it’s also about putting yourself out there publicly, which even I wouldn’t do for security reasons. His choice is completely understandable and respectable, and this whole “fake age” and “prove your age” discussion should end here.
