Introduction: Hello, I'm FamousZAmos, or as most of you know me, "Zamos". I'm 15, and I love to build, pvp, or just hang out on Meepcraft. I know at one point I was notoriously toxic but lately I believe I have mellowed out and stopped being a pain for staff and others. If I'm not on Meepcraft I'm probably trying to beat some insane Geometry Dash levels or doing schoolwork :/
Why should you be Architect? In my opinion I would be a very beneficial architect for the server, here are a few unique ways in which I am able to benefit the server:
Background: I come from a unique background. I've done almost everything in Minecraft, including (but not limited to) Meepcraft, competitive and noncompetitive pvp, adventure/puzzle map design, and parkour. I plan on submitting a challenging remake of a popular Meepcraft parkour course soon so we'll see.
Skills: Skills-wise, I am good at creating non-generic builds, capable of landscapes and terraforming, and knowledgeable about /ast. The only thing I'm admittedly not remarkable at building is large, generic buildings. I enjoy making small natural scenes (caves and waterfalls and greenery) and finding creative ways to use blocks.
Benefit: I believe of all the Architects I would be the Architect most experienced in other fields (such as building pvp/ctf/parkour creating for the server) due to my unusual background. I do think I would need to invest time to learn all the ins and outs of Voxel and WorldEdit, but I believe the pros outweigh the cons in my case.
Easy to Collaborate with: Anyone I've ever worked with on Meepcraft will tell you I'm very easy to work with (as in the case of JeterPan and myself's Terrarium revamp or me and bloodyghost's town) I don't attach massive value to getting "my way" and I believe this is a valuable trait for staff, especially Architects
What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? On the server I have built (or worked on):
Peachstreet's new "broken" roads
Bastion (where the gods live, not the spawn)
The Terrarium revamp (I believe CluelessKlutz and some others saw it when it was build, screenshots provided)
My big sandstone/redclay castle in creative
The sewers in Peachstreet
The things I provided screenshots of
/pwarp cards (not grind, that is NOT mine and I take no blame/credit for how that looks)
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I realize I have been rude in the past, maybe a bit spiteful and I'd like to apologize once again for any of my past actions. I can assure you it won't happen again. I've changed and I hope you can forgive me for my actions.
I hope I can move forward and grow as both a community member and also as a person.
How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? Voxel/Worldedit hmmm....
I used MCEdit almost daily for probably a year or two (map creation and custom items) and have used worldedit on rare occasions. (also am proficient with WorldPainter). However, I'm an extremely fast learner and have experience with 3dmodeling, custom worlds/worldeditors, and the like. I think Worldedit will be easy to re-learn and finer details of the program will come naturally in a short time. Not too sure about Voxel but I think it will be easy enough to pick up, just have to watch some tutorials.
