How to Handle Bans

When someone sends a modreq saying something along the lines of "(name) TP killed me!" "(name) is hacking!" "(name) is raiding me!", you should ban the snitch and then ban the person breaking the rules.

y tho, honestly I thought this would be a suggestion about different ban lengths for different offences cuz xray shouldn't be a perm ban it should be like 14-28 days but im not telling the staff how to do their jobs but this suggestion makes absolutely no sense.

If you’re suggesting the credibility of the reporter be in question, I completely agree. In too many cases, the first person to file a modreq or contact staff gets benefit of the doubt that they were the person being wronged (while this is terrible; it is not common. Think I noticed it maybe two times total while I was a helper).

Is this the general idea?

If so, I believe you are trying to address a problem, but your solution is too extreme.
