Increase fly key use time from 1 day to 1 week

Simple suggestion. Right now using a fly key gets you 1 day of fly and possibly a special /effect. 1 day of fly is not really beneficial considering its rarity. I guess making it more common would be an option, but 1 day of fly is still too short to be very special.

Well... /fly is very expensive and most of us have paid a lot for it and therefor it should be rare otherwise loads of people getting /fly free would be unfair.. and especially 30 days of it is very long too have such a rare and expensive perk but yes maybe a week instead.

I think one day is perfect personally. I think keeping it at a day will ensure that players wanting it will be sure to vote daily to increase changes of obtaining. It also keeps the value of the fly key high.

The value of the fly key would increase drastically. People would want it even more. People would vote even more because they want the perk of flight for a week, not a day. A day is such a short amount of time, especially when you consider how much time people play per day. The average player plays no more than one or three hours per day. This gives them a very small opportunity to actually use their incredibly rare perk. The week-long perk would encourage players to want the fly keys, buy the fly keys, and use the fly keys.

Another idea is to implement week long fly keys and day long fly keys, obviously lowering the chance of receiving a week long fly key.

I agree with Cooleys, though just to be generous I think it should be increased to 48 hours, no more.

24 hours is somewhat useless, but at least 48 hours can maybe have more usage, while still calling for players to vote often.

I think @alex77034 made a fair point; making the fly key 24 hours longer wouldn’t be bad at all. Usually when buying these, players tend to use them to work on large build projects, not just because they want to fly around. These builds can take a while, and I think two days is fair.
I also agree with @Cooleysworld:
Making it one week would drastically make the value drop, which isn’t great for two reasons, one because players won’t vote as much (as previously said) and they’ll just buy it, and two, because Ultimates won’t be very happy ‘bout that.

when you have a fly note does it work in the wild?
if not (only towns) then can you make it so that when ults use a fly crate key they get a guaranteed effect
