As most of you know, people with ranks receive multipliers to their scores in Halo. The multiplier increases as the rank increases. With this multiplier, players with higher ranks can easily and unfairly win over people with lower ranks, even if the lower ranked players got many more kills than their competitors. A simple way to balance things out while still giving ranked players an increased reward would be to separate "points" and "coins." Currently, when playing a round, killing players gives you points, which translate directly into coins. Instead of giving ranked players a multiplier in points, they should receive a coins-only multiplier. They would still receive the same amount of coins for kills as they would before, but there would be no unfair increase in points they earn, making it plausible for a player of any rank to win.
Summary:
Higher ranks get as many coins as they would before for Halo kills, but they get the same amount of points as any other ranks. This makes it to where people of lower ranks can win, but higher ranks still get lots of coins.
