Lord (tech) When did you join Meepcraft? 2013 Introduction: I already spend most of my time helping newcomers or 'legend's that are just coming back. I know the current staff pretty well. I'm familiar with the rules. I have too much time on my hands right now; not as creative as I used to be, but I enjoy being on Meepcraft. I'd like to give back a bit if I can. I've had my fun. :) Why should you be Helper? I really just like helping out the kids. My son plays Minecraft, and I help him all the time. I'm getting a little old to be doing big projects etc. But I've invested into Meep (alot) - time/money alike. I think I'd be a good helper/mod. What are your weaknesses? Architecture / Design (outside of Redstone ;)) Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I'm interested in starting as soon as you guys need me. I have a job interview tomorrow which may take up some hours- but it's IT related, so I'll actually probably be working from home. Either way, my early morning and evening hours are on Meep. Looking forward to working with you guys.

Click on “Helper application” when they do, don’t create a new thread.
If you do decide to apply then, I’d advise you to make a longer application with more detail about your capabilities. You’re a great guy.

Not a player I've seen a lot (as someone who's on and off all day every day, that's concerning IMO) never seen you really have any kind of personality, maybe you just don't talk idk. My opinion's that you're exactly like the other current staff (excluding Kling) just kinda have no personality or really any unique aspects. What can you contribute to the team that nobody else can? Also, 3 isn't many references, and they're all staff. Furthermore people with much stronger applications will be applying soon, and I'd rather see them as staff since I know they can bring a lot more to the team. It's a -1 from me, maybe neutral if I see you ingame more

you're app is lacking, doesn't really tell me much about you in the introduction ( where it must be about you ) you've put things that should go in the why section. I've seen you a bit in game and did you just come back? You're an old meeper so you would know things from the past but you just get yourself use to the current meep and all the commands and such, and also talk to a lot of players to get to know them because chances are when you are staff you're gonna handle a modreq from them too.

Architecture/design for a weakness in a helper app isn't enough. they want to know your weaknesses that could hold you back in the staff team from doing your job such as immaturity, lack of time etc.

Now, I don't know whether or not its true, cause I've never asked him, but you said T3K or someone said that you don't need to be active on forums.
Look at all past applicants, all of those who were accepted. All were active in forums. You posted things wayyyyyy back then. The only thing you recently posted was enchanted tools. Of course, you don't need to be super active. But you need to be on forums and post at least a few times a week. Theres things called "Player reports" that are on forums. You WILL need to be active for that.
Your app itself is lacking what we don't know about you. Refer to the "Tips and Guides" for the helper app that Court made.

Just you saying this does not introduce me to you, this goes more into the "Why" section. Give background to who you are, if you have a family, jobs, fun things or hobbies you do. Even if you don't have much say to say, just introduce us as if you're talking to us face to face.
For your "why" section, post things from the Helper app guide. Yes, helping others is a nice thing, but most people do it. You need to set yourself apart and show why truly you deserve helper. Look at Ellie or Vex, or I for example. Even without a staff rank, we still help those without the rank. Before I was staff, on my first application that was denied, it didn't stop me from being helpful.
Like Spongey said above, your weakness section is just weird. Yeah, there are times when staff build things with arch's but its not all the time. Say anything like not a lot of time on meep or a bit immature. Those work, and explain why these are your weaknesses and state how you can work on them when applying for helper.

The only plus I see from this app is your hours you're online. However, since you said you'll be getting a job soon, who knows. That'll change most likely.
Even I'm surprised Zamos did a better app than this. But good luck either ways.

Heya Beauf, I'm going to have to stay neutral for this app for the time being, simply because of your current activity, you've just given up all of your belongings and saying you'll have to quit for a new job, and you've mentioned being online at night to do 'staff work'
if you'd like to be staff you can't give everything up to focus on being staff, otherwise you'll get bored with nothing to do anymore, staff work isn't 24/7 and modreqs don't come all the time, so you'll have a lot of spare time on your hands if you're thinking on just focusing to climb up the staff ranks via focusing on the staff team, You're a wonderful person to talk to IMO, but I don't think you've been here long enough to talk to enough people so we have a variety of opinions on your application and who you are as a player, my 2nd reason of neutrality is your application strength is lacking in so much detail, I shall try to explain what you can do to improve the parts as simply as I can, to avoid spam.

The introduction is for us to know more about you, what you do in your spare time, your current jobs on Meep, any in real life things you'd like to add just for us to get a little more knowledge on who you are (don't say something you don't want to add, it's your app, add what you feel comfortable with)

This is to tell others about what you think may stop you from getting staff, to make sure it sounds less negative, mention how playing meep and/or getting staff will help overcome these weaknesses, Architecture, and Redstone is part of an Arch role, you shouldn't be touching it if you want to be moderation staff, this is for things such as immaturity, Short-tempered, Anxiety etc.

I think you should focus more on getting that job than trying for meep staff, worst case scenario is you get denied for both places, think ahead, is it worth waiting to apply and getting that Job so you can settle in? or rushing in for meep staff at the same time of having the stress of a new job.

Thanks everyone for your input. I went to my job interview today, and I'll be working a lot remotely (from home). The assets I gave away was because I didn't see a necessity for it if I'd be helping the staff. I've been here since 2013; I'm not sure how long I'd need to be registered to qualify. I'll still continue to help players with or without the 'Helper' flag. Simply applied after a few in game friends suggested it.

As far as my introduction / short application - I really am not familiar with applying for a staff position on a PC game. Jobs I've been doing have been mostly helping others with odd jobs, helping c1aire take care of her town, building redstone systems for a few people, and helping new-comers with questions.

I've only given away half of my assets, and sold off my main projects because I wouldn't have time for them + a job + being staff on meepcraft. The only people that spoke against me on here, are people that have a problem with me (for whatever reason) in game. Either our competing in vshop, or not giving them something they beg for.

The RL job is looking good, but I'd still have plenty of time for meepcraft.

To comment on the shortness of "weaknesses" - I don't think immaturity or anything would be an issue there @SpongeyStar. I'm 31 years old with two daughters and have been a member of Meepcraft for years. Lack of time is also not an issue. I apologize for not coming up with more to list.

I don't think I said they don't care about forums. I just said that I told him I haven't been on the forums much and if I should still apply, in which I was told I should - but that at the time the applications were not open.

well if you dont get the position the thing I suggest is to not beat yourself up. and also tell yourself "im not applying for staff on the server that lane works on" because this app would get you blacklisted from submitting a second application

I can hear the tone in your voice lol.

this is an important job because you are serving for the community and helping out a lot. the staff gotta trust you because if you go higher in the ranks e.g supermod or admin you're gonna have to have a great deal of trust to deal with things, so of course people are gonna pin point on the smallest of things.
