Now that I've baited you in with the title, let's get to my suggestion.
I just recently donated for Ultimate, and I realized something.
The orange text all ultimates/legends donated for to help them stand out in chat, is doing the exact opposite.
Thus, I am suggesting we allow ranks to choose the color they speak in of the ranks beneath them. For example, supremes will have a command that lets them choose to speak in pink or in white, BUT the tag before their name will still show as supreme.
I know I'm going to see "this has been suggested a million times, can you stop suggesting it" so I will explain why I believe we should reconsider this now in one word: Happiness. In the ideal of a functioning business or group, you want your consumers, or in our case players to be happy. Now, giving those who have donated to help support your server (and in large amounts for whom this suggestion is affecting) the ability to choose the color of their chat from the colors they have once owned, would be a simple way to give back to the community. I know we are working furvently on becoming EULA compliant, and chat is a completely cosmetic item, so changing our chat color is completely legal. Chat color is legal, and would help make many supreme and ultimate players happy, along with giving people more incentive to donate for higher ranks.
All of the programming this suggestion entails:
1 command that could be accessed by all players, preferably pulling up a GUI similar to that of effects, and then 3 options. The first option would be white glass pane, the default for all players, and accessible for all players.
The second option would be pink glass pane, accessible for supremes and ultimates. The final option would be for orange glass pane, and accesible for only ultimates. And according to whatever pane the player selects, their chat color would coincide with their choice.
This will not affect the colors of staff members or admins or architects or techs, their colors shall remain their normal colors so they vary from the community.
Please don't deny just for the fact this has been denied before; this will make some active community members happy, and doesn't need to be very high priority, but also shouldn't be terribly hard to implement.
