I get that error message all the time, I just hit the refresh button at the bottom and let the server find the correct ping and player information, then click the server again and it’s good. I suggest you make meepcraft one of your servers instead of using direct connect, you will be able to see if you are getting problems with only meep, or with other servers as well (if you have problems with other servers as well, it is likely your internet that is the problem)
