How much do YOU love Meep?

So this is just a random thread I decided to post. I wanted to see how much everyone loved Meep! So make a comment below, on how much you love Meep, and why. Excited to see the answers, and here is my answer too.

I love Meep because it has a very tight and friendly community, and since it is a tight community you learn everyone's names straight away, it is easier to make friends if it is a new server to you, and it ends up feeling like another family. And I decided to stay on Meep since everyone was so friendly and warm when I first joined.

Why do you like Meep? And why did you decide to stay with it?

1. Bullying an 11 year old kid
2. Spamming with unicode, swastika signs, etc
3. Building a swastika
4. Continuously ignoring staff members

And, this was taken part by former staff members.

I don't think I love it as much as it used to.

I love the development of the plugins and server itself, but the player base does contain some people with issues. I think the simple answer is just continuing to show what a positive atmosphere can do and reporting problems caused by other players' behaviors.

That sounds 1) like fun 2) like all servers. Nothing is wrong with bullying, it keeps the social norms and standards the same. You'd see more rebels and weird dudes if bullies didn't scare us into being the same as everyone else.

Wait, let me rephrase: There's nothing wrong with enforcing a social standard. Being rude or violent towards those with disabilities and turbulent lives IS NOT OK. Telling an 11 year old he's being a moron is ok. Telling someone who's fat to kill themselves solely because they're fat is different.

How is bullying fun? We are looking for a positive community here and I don't think bullying can contribute to that.

And if meepcraft is like all servers, why would I love it?

He's just meaning that all servers will share certain similarities. It doesn't mean they're all basically the same server, just that most public survival servers you find will have many of the same player activities and types along with some similar plugins such as grief protection.
