For the record, I'm a -1 on the suggestion. I also felt that it was surprisingly difficult to make money when I first started, but within a day or two I realized it has to do with perspective and just working hard. Perspective, because the economy is different now; 100k is worth what was at least 500k-1 mill previously, especially if you look at rank selling. I also just worked hard, did jobs and all the quests, did parkour when I was bored, and voted, and I got up to 100k extremely quickly. Even spending money and such - I was a little more frugal than I've been in the past, but I still wasn't just hoarding money. It's not as hard as you make it out to be.
And like I said, I am Ult, which did make it easier - while /fly is no longer in /warp wild, I still was able to use /craft, /smelt, and other related commands to help me. These would not be accessible to new players, which might make it a bit slower. But it's far from impossible.
1. Spawner Mining: now I remember when I donated to get elite that spawner mining was the only reason I donated to it. Taking this away was, in my opinion, a bad choice because wwhy would anyone who donated for this want to stay on this server if it doesn't have spawner mining? there are plenty of servers with it and the ranks are probably far cheaper. when I started getting back into things, I found it much harder to get resources and stuff because there is no really easy way to get xp, now I could buy xp bottles, but that cost money, which is something most people don't have anymore since the restart. I think that if spawner mining was readded it would boost the economy because people could actually buy stuff, and make tools so they can get resources to start shops.

Like many people, I also donated to Elite primarily for spawner mining. I miss it, but there's many reasons to keep it out of the server. It basically makes enchanted goods extremely common, ruining the market for them. To be fair, spawners do add a new market in selling spawners and/or spawner locations, and I think it could potentially be added back in a way that minimizes the damage, but it's not nearly as necessary nor as easy as you make it out to be.
2. A better /Warp Shop: ok, so the warp shop is pretty much a useless warp because there is literally nothing in the shop. you can buy basic stuff but you cant sell anything. now, if you look at it from this point... how is this an efficient way of putting money into a struggling economy if you cant sell to the server?? people can only sell to those who have enough money to open a shop, and when they run out of money, how can you sell stuff. now looking at it, this game is dying... and the only way to get people to your server is to offer something that could help with money.

I'm a hard no on this. Selling to /warp shop was necessary in the past because of a lack of /jobs for awhile, but now that we have it, we have plenty of ways to insert money into the economy. /jobs, minigames, parkour, and voting all put money in, we don't need another source. Plus, not being able to sell at /warp shop allows for more player-player interaction.
3. Gold prices: How does lowering gold prices help with anything. a lot of people are dirt poor and we cant do anything about it. There is no way to make any money because YOU CANT SELL ANYTHING TO THE SERVER and GOLD ISNT WORTH ANYTHING. So In a struggling eco with no money at all, what could it hurt to add a little more money to the economy.
~ @joe123l
I see no problem with gold prices? Gold is relatively common, especially with water temples and mesas now, so a lower price fits that. Plus, as I mentioned before, the economy is different - gold prices probably seem low to you because they've been adjusted to the current economy, while you're still stuck in the previous one.
The server numbers are low as far as players, so why give up and not do anything about it. a lot of players left because of the multiple restarts and no new player stays with the server because it is impossible to make money... I think little changes in the eco could go a long way.

To finish off - no, this is just incorrect. Like Deinen said, there's multiple reasons for a low player count, many of which have to do with MineCraft as a whole and not MeepCraft. Don't blame the thriving economy just because it's not as inflated as it has been in the past.
