Introduction: Hello! My name is George, and I am 10 years old. I have been playing Minecraft for 3 or 4 years. I play two sports, soccer and football. In these games I am a team player, which helps me work with other players quite easily. Since I have joined Meepcraft, I have had the most experience with towns. I play towns the most, and know almost all of the rules and commands, considering the several years that I have spent on the server. I have 2 younger brothers and 1 older, and I have learned to handle all of the situations/fights we have. I have been in the community for quite a bit of time now and have learned how to deal with all the different types of people. At school, I am a pretty smart kid. I get all my work done and do my homework and I get good grades in my subjects. Since I am still in elementary school, there aren’t many activities to be part of. However, one activity that I have done is the sound board for our school play. I controlled all the microphones, and I made the props. This is kind of like “behind the scenes” work, which is similar to the role Meepcraft staff play. I found Meepcraft when my friend had told me about it. When I first joined I had no idea what was happening and everyone was there to help me. Now when people join, I try to act the same way that everyone else did when I joined.
Why should you be Helper? I spend as much of my time as possible playing Meepcraft. When I am on, I am as active as I can be in global answering everyone's questions, and I am always paying attention to my chat. From the years spent on Meepcraft, I have improved a lot on my maturity. From the start, I remember being immature. However, since then, my maturity level has grown a lot, and I don’t say things in chat that may not be appropriate, or just are very immature. I feel that my level of maturity is above average for my age, which is one major reason that I think helps me stand out as a candidate for staff. Another strong quality I have is that I can stay calm during a tense situation, and make appropriate decisions to deal with it. For example, if someone took something from me and won’t give it back, I would stay calm and tell a staff member, or ask them nicely again to give it back. When I have to handle things in real life or in game, I take my time and hear both sides of the story, and then I deal with the problem. I like to take my time and spend as much time as each person needs in order to handle the situation with the best outcome as possible. As I have said above, I have 3 brothers, 2 younger, 1 older, which has taught me to deal with fixing the problems and fights we have. In situations where I am faced with a project or task, I do not procrastinate, and I work with good quality and efficiently. I think that my time zone and my activity can help the server’s goal of having staff on 24/7 because there are not many staff in the central time zone. Another aspect that I have mentioned in the introduction is that I play 2 sports, soccer and football. Both of these sports require you to be able to work with a team and communicate with other people. Since the years I have played these sports I have gotten better with people, talking, and not being as shy. This enables me to work well with other members on the staff team, and everyone in the Meepcraft community. When people join Meepcraft, I greet them and try to help them with everything they need. Also, I have owned multiple towns which gives me experience with greeting people and helping them become familiar with rules and commands if needed. I spend most of my time on Meepcraft in towny, which I think is good because a lot of players need help with towny andtowns is probably the aspect I have the most experience with.
What are your weaknesses? As I have said in my why section, I can stay calm in a lot of situations, although sometimes I can take it too far. I can stay calm, but sometimes I can have a big temper, too. This doesn’t happen a lot but there has been times when it has occurred. Another one of my weaknesses is being negative about myself. I have been working on being more positive about myself but similar to the temper issue, I can be negative about myself at times, too. Another weakness I have is patience. At times it is hard for me to stay patient and wait for things. No one is perfect and I will always try to work to improve on my weaknesses.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I would like to add that I have noticed when some people get denied, they just quit Meepcraft. However, I will still continue to help people and act how I normally do on Meepcraft.
