I feel that I should be helper as I know most things about the server and I have helped players in the past as a citizen. I feel like no-one really dislikes me on the server and I feel that s really important when it comes to helping people. What are your weaknesses? I don't have much weaknesses but my main weakness is I that I tend to get to into the game and sometimes take things personally. However, that is a very minor worry for you guys but its something that I could easily overcome. Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I am a very trustworthy person, I can sort out problems before things get out of hand. I will be 100% committed to the server whenever I can get on. If I have spare time I can hop on to the server and help out.

Hiya Antor. so just a quick few things to tell you my point of view of your application.

I don't think you're ready for staff at this moment in time. partially because just a few days ago you was banned. and not too long ago you joined back from the server, I haven't really seen you active a lot lately, and you really don't cooperate in chat when people asks questions. You was in my town in alpha but I don't think you've improved in punctuality since then, so I'm going to provide some useful tips to help you towards a new application if you don't happen to get accepted this time round

The References need to be at least one to show you have other supporting you throughout applying, this will help show that you have some who believe you can be good at being staff and help out the server a lot.

This isn't just asking when you joined, it is also asking why you joined, how did you find the server? and why did you decide to stay and play meepcraft, it is showing how you have improved from when you first joined to now, just saying a date gives us no information on how you Joined meep and how your experience on the server improves your gameplay today

This is a start, but your introduction needs to be filling with stuff about YOU, what are your hobbies, what do you do outside of Meep, and who do you spend most of your time with, make sure this paragraph is explaining who you are as a person and explain it so that people who read this can understand you without having needing to talk to you in game.

Why should you be Helper? I feel that I should be helper as I know most things about the server and I have helped players in the past as a citizen. I feel like no-one really dislikes me on the server and I feel that s really important when it comes to helping people.

Once you hit staff there will be people who dislike you, and not having people who dislike you shouldn't be a reason for staff, you will always have someone who hates you or is jealous, but the part of getting helper is proving that you can stand up to that and do not put it in front of your staff work. the 'Why?' section should be one of the largest paragraphs, as it shows how you have improved on Meepcraft and why do you think you stand out from other applicants at the time being, you're saying your positive side of your activity and how you feel this will help you be a staff.

I have mentioned this to a few people, the weaknesses section is to mention facts about you that you think would stop you from getting staff, I know that sounds bad and you should avoid it by saying 'nothing I have will affect me' but you can do this properly by also saying how you will reduce/stop these, and what you can do normally to help, plus an addition to why being a staff will help with the issues. it may seem like something everyone should avoid as they want to become staff, but not labelling these and getting accepted means they might show whilst you are a staff, and with it not being labelled you don't know what will help and may result in getting a demotion or a talking to.

Currently, I'm sorry to say that I'm a -1 for this I just don't feel that you're ready yet for staff, maybe try talking in global and helping people out, if you need someone to help write a new application I'd be glad to help, so just pm me on discord, on forums or in game if you can.

I don't know were this trend of extremely short applications that tell us nothing has come from. Check out any of the accepted apps and they will clearly show that for this size of application to be okay you have to have had an extremely valuable asset and even then people would harshly criticize them for the size of their app. Applications the size of books used to be very common.

Your intro tells me nothing about who you are as a person. It is the very minimum of what an intro should be.
Your why section is weak in support of you being staff. You know most things about the server but so does most everyone. Saying no one dislikes you isn't really a strength. Everyone has someone who doesn't like them and to me it's more impressive to be able to work through that maturely. If you apply again pick at least 5 strengths and explain why they would be good for a helper to have and any examples of you using them to overcome issues.
Your weakness section is weak. I can't believe you only have that weakness but let's say you do. Saying it is a minor woory sounds like you are blowing it off. How exactly do you plan to overcome it? What examples do you have?

Having references is supposed to be optional but it's turned into a requirement. Find some people you've worked with and ask them if they will be a reference.

Most of your conclusion section could be split between intro and why.

I see you lurking on forums a bit which is great! But try to get more involved.

I agree with everything Hestia said. You're a nice kid but the only reason you want to become Helper can't be that you've helped people in the past and you don't have any people that dislike you, to your knowledge. Please take a look at Courtney's application hints and tips and it will give you a breakdown of good things to put in each section.

The why section should be longer than the introduction, in my opinion. I also like to see a list of personality traits or experience that can relate to you being good for the position.

Looking at past accepted apps is also a good way to give yourself some ideas.

Please don't be discouraged but it's a -1 from me for now.

I have to say, you're a kind lad, but I have several issues.
1. You don't know the server well enough. I often see you asking questions in chat, which is fine, although a pontential staff member should rather be awnsering then asking questions.
2. Don't say "I don't have much weaknesses". No. Take a step back and look at what's the part of your personality you consider a weakness. Although this might seem like you're not going to be accepted if you put honnest weaknesses, it shows self-awerness, which is important.
3. Next, structure your application.
The most important part is the why. Make it long and structured by breaking down your qualities and explaining them. Don't write too many short ones, 5 long ones are better than 7-10 short ones.
4. References.
Not putting references comes down to saying no one wants you/supports you to be a staff member. Having references are important, and are a "must". Get to know and connect to people. Ask the people you know, and who think you could make a good staff member if they'd like to be a reference.
If you manage to fix these 4 issues in your next application, I'll probably be a +1.

If your entire application plus your signature can fit on a phone screen, you know that your app is waaaayyy too short. Also, I've never seen you on forums before. You seem to think rather highly of yourself and your relationships with others. Maybe to prove all this talk is true, get some references.

This after he was banned for luring on a /pwarp which he set on a PvP plot. I don't know if you've changed since then, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Even then, you've only made six posts on forums and the latest since 5 December was on Saturday. That is not sufficient activity, it seems to me like you just started being active to improve your chances of being staff. Your application is weak, and it doesn't even encapsulate your reasons why you should be helper. You don't need to write an essay, but for next time I'd suggest writing something along the lines of a bullet-point chart with things like "dedication", "activity", "demeanour", and explain why those are positive attributes of yourself, rather than just saying "I know things. I like helping people.".

Hello Antorres9, sins i do not know you in person i will give my opinion on your application based only off your application. ;)

Lets start with what i like about your application and what i think you can improve on.

You have given us an idea of what you like to do on your spare time and what kind of person you are, but i really think you should have written a little more about yourself.

I love that you have experience from editing photos, but it would have been nice if you had told us more about this hobby. For an example what program do you use for editing? how long have you been editing for? Why do you like to do this on your spare time? And last but not least, what do you think this would bring to the staff team as a whole?`

It is also great that you take part of sports like soccer and tennis, it shows that you might be able to be better when you have to work with multiple people and that you might be good in teamwork situations. But i would also have loved to know what experiences you have gotten from playing soccer and tennis? Like bad and good experiences and what did you learn from those? This is just to make it so that i would understand more of what kind of person you are ;)

I like that you know a lot about the server, but you have not really gone in to details on what you know? Like what do you play the most, Towny? Skyblock? or just in the Wild? Do you own a town?

It is awesome that you have taken the time to help people on the server, but i think you should have given us some off these experiences?
Like what happened, what did you help them with? Did you learn anything from helping the person? Stuff like that :)

You mentioned that you have a tendency to take things personally, could this turn in to a issue on the server? And in what way could this be bad for the server?
