Introduction: Hey! My name is Alex, and as most of you know, my in game named is xAlexBearx. To start things off, I love traveling and eating all sorts of food. Every summer I travel to Europe, where I get to see new sights and try new types of food. One day, I plan to go to Asia or Australia and see all they offer, because I'm really intrigued with culture as a whole. Usually whenever I visit places, I document them by taking photos and sometimes even drawing things that are inspired by those places. I'm a sucker for art and photography, and visit museums when I can. In school, I took a photography, an art, and a theatre class, all of which evoked my biggest passions. I like a lot of things, but they all stem from one root. Creativity and Imagination. The reason the arts have clung tight to me as I've been growing up is that the rules aren't written, anyone can write the rules. I tend to be very studious and do well in most subjects, but I don't really like math and science. I found meep roughly a year after I started playing Meepcraft in 2013, and fell in love ever since because of it's vibrant community and wholesome experience. I've been playing for 4 years, and I decided that now is the time I want to give back to the community by becoming an architect.
Why should you be Architect? I'll take this step by step like last time, and really bring out what makes me a suitable candidate.
Experience: This is an open end umbrella that can cover various things, but specifically, I am used to being in a type of staff environment similar to meep's. I've learned to work under pressure when there's multiple tasks at hand, and I've learned to be organized when going about numerous projects.
Multi-Tasking: To bridge off of the last paragraph, I can easily multi task when there's many projects going on at one time. Whenever things need to be done at different deadlines, I can efficiently manage my time to get it done. If I don't meet a deadline, I will work hard to get that done and keep people updated about my progress. I'm a very social person, and when there's an important task at hand, if people want to know what's currently going on, I'll give them an in depth description and always keep them posted.
Social: Connecting to my last point, I'm social and really outgoing. While this might not be a necessary skill for an architect, this makes me better at collaborating with others and helps when making compromises that are because of an disagreement. More times than I thought, there were situations where we didn't have an effective plan or we came across an miscommunication and it proved to be useful when I could talk things out and smooth out the problem.
Creative: Basically the subject of my introduction, all the activities and things that I like to do all require me to use my mind to be creative and think outside the box. I can create ideas and then shape them into a realistic way or form, that can be doable and achievable for me. I think it's essential for me to be creative when building because it's what sets me apart from other people. When building, I always strive to make my builds memorable and just an inch farther from what's typical.
Easy Learner: I'm definitely am not perfect, and I still have a ton to learn. There are styles that I haven't ventured into yet and I'm happy to get to know them and explore them. I take criticism well, and always use it to benefit me. There are also times where I will struggle too when learning stuff, and I will make an effort to educate myself about it.
What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? I have a couple builds in creative, and in towny.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I'm gonna include photos from my last application because they're still recent and show my capabilities, but I've also included new ones too.
How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? I consider myself to have decent knowledge of world edit. I haven't used it in a couple months though, and I'll have to practice for a bit. I've already started brushing up so that if I do get accepted, It'll be easier for me to get started. I don't have as much knowledge of voxel as world edit, but I'm sure ill learn more in no time.
