Around June 2014 Introduction: Hi, I am Samuel, I have had many opportunities to introduce my self, feels weird talking about me. My native language is Spanish and I learned English in school, and a lot watching tv shows in English, YT vids and even playing on Minecraft servers! I'm interested in technology, video games and I love arts, animation, drawing and photography (but I'm not that good).

How I work.
I am very persistent, I fail at something, I try again, and again and again. I like doing my best as long as I have at least just a bit of interest in what I am going to do. I may be afraid of asking for help sometimes, I like to feel that I am good at stuff, and that helps my self-esteem. I rarely say no. I don't know If I get afraid or I am just too kind but I like accepting challenges or long jobs. And finally, I am fair, I will look at both sides and rarely get biased even if it is a friend, you won't see me going on to a side unless there's a good reason. Why should you be Helper? I like doing new stuff, being helper should be a fun experience for me and the people who I help. There's something that tells me I would be very serious with serious topics but I will joke around and have fun as long as it dose not bother people. I live in a region where not many people live, I can assist in Spanish and be awake at different hours. Finally, I love meepcraft, I have thousands of memories from when I found the server, just typing random words on the direct connect slot to learning every bit the server has to offer. What are your weaknesses? I try working hard on all of this and I think I advance in this more every time.

1) I make many typos. Because I learned English at school and not as my native language, I am not the best speaker, I also type very fast and make even more mistakes. I just installed a typo corrector in Safari to fix problems when typing in forums.

2) I may procrastinate. This is a big problem that affects me in school, I try so much fixing it but it is just too hard.

3) I am very shy. This rarely affects me in Minecraft but IRL, I have problems... Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Because I am in school, it may be hard for me to always log in but I will try my best to play the most.

The intro is short. We want to know up you, know your life.

I recognize that English is not your first language, but if it impares how you communicate, or people can't understand you, it is a problem. (No deductions for grammar, as you don't speak English. But that could cause problems when communicating with others.)

Discord is required. Without discord, it is an auto deny.

Also, we already have many staff in your time zone.

I think that you have great potential in the future to be a part of the staff team, but not right now. This is because of the following reasons:
1. Application: I wouldn't use SpiderJel as reference if I were you. Also, you should take more time to develop things in your application and convey the idea that you really are suited for this job.
2. Discord: is required. It's a great part of the community, trust me on this!!
3. Time Zone: Bogota is in the same time as the US and we already have many staff from the US
4. Staff Work: I want to know more about your work ethic. Staff work is not easy and it's not just helping people. We have a large staff team and we need people that can move projects forward and bring more positivity!! It worries me because you included procrastination as one of your weaknesses.

Don't be discouraged! You have a lot to work on but I'm sure you can be great staff in the future. Correct those weaknesses and get involved more in the community is all I can suggest:)

I've seen you a fair few times recently, and you have not given a good impression on yourself. Speaking Spanish in global constantly just to get Kicked? there's no need. I think you need to mature up a bit before you go applying on Meep. I've worked with you when we were mining out @lfpnub 's Casino. and all you did was mine a few blocks then write 'Lol' or 'Heya' in cobblestone. then insisting on randomly placing cobble for a 'parkour' in which I had to mine up, and anyone who was in local chat you'd tell them 'I'm working for free. but Large tips are nice ;)' I'm sorry but you seem immature to be accepted. Goodluck anyways!

Please get someone who is fluent in English who can also understand Spanish to type an application for you, or at least proofread your application

When you apply for Helper this is only the first hurdle, there is a voice interview on discord if your application gets accepted. If you can't do the interview then it would be unlikely that you would get the role. I think you should get more integrated with the community from what I've seen and you are a tad immature but other than that, I have no other issues!

First of all, in the future, please structure your application and take the time to read it one last time before posting it, because the English is horrendous.
Second, you're in the same time zone as the US, in wich there are already many staff members, and third, you're simply, in my opinion, way too young.

For someone who only knew spanish and learned English (one of the hardest language to learn) congratulations on making a nicely worded app. I'm gonna stay neutral for now because you need to work on a few things but I think you would be a decent fit for the job..... so

1.) Discord - get it and get it now or you will not even be able to have an interview or do your job properly.
2.) Detail your app better. Why would you be a good fit. What experience do you have?
3.) Get known a little more in the Meepcraft world. Engage in every topic you can in global and show yourself helping. Especially now, now that you put an application in they'll watch you like a hawk. Let yourself shine NOW!

I like that you said "you can be serious and joke around" I feel some staff take their job too seriously. Which no one likes. Good luck! My vote: 0

Hi Samuel!
I'm a -1 for the following reasons.
• Age is not a real problem as long as the candidate is mature enough to handle the responsibility that is being a staff member. This is not a quality that seems very present yet.
•Your application is very short. Enhance it with more detail about yourself, to get the community to know more things about you that they didn't know. For that, you can go and take a look a Courtney's guide.
•Being shy and not having a microphone are problems, because the interview is via Discord.
My point: I think you could be a staff member, but not right now.
Get a mic, wait a while and then, when you are a bit older, reapply.

So at this time we've decided to deny your application. Don't give up hope though. You just need to work on some things still. You have to be as helpful as you can be in global when people ask question, and try not to be rude to others. There was one time when you were yet the person tried hiding it. Be kind and respectful at all times. Also, try being active on forums, participate in other threads made by other people. Also discord is a must since you need to be active on it as well as need it for interview. Once again, denied. Thanks for applying!
