I'm sorry for getting you addicted to eggwars before you became staff, lol.
Huge plus 1 for eggwars. Eggwars has much much more potential than skywars, which is already on 90% of servers. Eggwars alone could bring in donations, save players from leaving the server, and give towny players a fun way to make money. This could also bring back some older players.
If you are an older player (or any player, but most older players have this misconception) you NEED to be willing to change from the "we are a towny server, not a minigame server, so just work on towns". We have been using this mindset and focusing only on towns for the last two years, and the player count hasn't risen for more than a month or two (due to Preston doing a vid). We need something else other than towns to attract players, and keep them on the server. One of the next best things that we have on the server atm to retain players would be skyblock, but we denied all of my suggestions in the past that made skyblock more fun (so let's try a minigame instead)

Most people don't come for minigames, and even if they do, they rarely stay. This server is a towny one, so adding lots of minigames wouldn't do much. People go to big hubs for those. While I do like having a few, cause I myself really enjoyed playing skywars (Though now with Ellie's explanation I am considering Eggwars, they sound quite fun) and halo pre-reset, it's adding things to towny is that will bring players in.
