Feb 6th 2015 Introduction: Hello, my name is Carlie although most of you call me Queen.
One of the things I am most interested in doing is playing and watching soccer! This sport has big a big part of my life since my dad randomly asked me if I wanted to go to a Portland Timbers game. I enjoy playing the sport whenever I can although I haven’t joined a team.
Last Christmas I got the game Overwatch and have spent hours playing the game, and hope to spend more!
Another thing I enjoy doing is watching anime or cartoons like Steven Universe. There’s not much I can say about this other that my favorite anime’s would be No Game No Life, Erased, Haikyu!!, Tokyo Ghoul, and others. My favorite character in Steven Universe is Amethyst!
I enjoy traveling, and is something I want to do more of. Once I went to the Grand Canyon! The canyon looked like a picture, a beautiful picture. It was a nice trip as most of my close family went. Why should you be Helper? I should be helper because of my experience. I have been on the staff team before and did get to Moderator. The reason I resigned was from being inactive, I felt very bored playing Minecraft and led me to leaving the team and server altogether. The reason keeping me from resigning was from all the fun I had on the team. I would like to say I did my job well, for the most part by doing modreq’s, banning hackers, and having the right judgement. As most people do, I made mistakes but I made sure to be understandable and reflect onto them to be a better player in this community.

One of the main reasons why I should be helper is for my dedication. I have spent many hours on this server trying to be a productive staff member and doing what I could do, while trying to be calm and as fun as possible. I feel dedication is an important thing for a staff member to have because it affects how bans go through - smoothly or rough. Dedication can result into one getting the job done nicely even if the player is difficult.

Being active is also a main need for a good staff member, I have recently became interested in playing on the server again and I hope to keep it that way. I am also reapplying to hopefully have the fun I had I once had, and to come back officially.

My experience is something that should be considered. I mentioned I did get to Moderator and because I did I would of at least did something right, right? I used to spend 12 hours on this server doing modreqs and overall helping players. Although I never really worked on catching xrayers or trello I hope to do more of that if I were to be accepted. When I wasn’t doing staff work I would manage towns, usually by myself. I think the whole town management teaches skills similar to being a staff. Managing a town can be stressful, even if it’s just a game. I made sure to be as nice and calm to the players when helping them and tried to find a way to show them around the server, if it would be on the town board or telling them directly. Being a staff also requires helping new players like how you do in a town. What are your weaknesses? My weaknesses include saying the wrong thing. There is times when I want to share my opinion too, even if it is not appropriate for a staff member to say. When I was staff member before I know I forgot to use forums, teamspeak, slack, and trello often. Playing other video games also might be a problem, I can go playing them for hours and forget what time is. I rarely am neutral in applications, but this is one of those applications where the ups and downs cancel out each other. I'm going to thoroughly explain what I think. You are a great person but I am not sure if it is the best for you to get this position now.

First, your application. It is detailed, however it is not the greatest. It is wonderful that you took time to explain what your favorite anime character is ( @GroovyGrevous is my favorite anime character by the way), but I personally think that you definitely can work on your weakness section. You should go into more depth about your weaknesses and say how you are working to correct/improve them.
I will go through each of them and I will explain why your weaknesses may be something that concerns me.

It is always good to share your opinion! Your opinion is important, especially when comes to deciding something about the server. However, saying something inappropriate for a staff member to say is probably not just sharing an opinion about something.

I consider this one of the most important aspects of being a staff member. Connecting outside of the game is very important, as you get to know members of the community more! In my opinion, a staff member should be able to reach out to, so please take time to work on that :)

As long as you spend time on meepcraft, no one will care what about how much you play Overwatch :)
Overall, I just think that you could've explained those weaknesses more and efforts that you are taking to correct them.

Second, is experience. Yes, I remember you when you were moderator, and from the application and what I've heard from other people, you were a great staff member. It is very impressive that you've done this as a 12 year old. You are very mature. Your dedication is also something and I agree that we need more experienced staff members (to replace @CluelessKlutz). ;)

Third, is the main reason that I'm neutral. Meepcraft currently has a large staff team. The staff to player ratio is large and all of the helping work is being done quite well (in my opinion). Yes, there are times when no staff members are on but that is just a problem with time zones and cannot be helped by someone from Oregon. The only instance when I think we truly should accept someone as a staff member is when that person has the ability to manage, fix, and move the server forward. You said you didn't do quite a lot on trello, but a person that moves everything to completed on trello is the person I support as a staff member.

So right now, I've had a positive experience with you, but I'm not sure whether you will be able to help with projects and help the server move forward. You have room to work on, and never give up! If you have more questions, feel free to PM me on discord or here :) Good luck!!

Well QueenTiitan, I would say you have what you got to be a staff member, very social with everyone, always kind, can take a joke at things sometimes, I'd say you can do it. There are some things you should improve on, but as long as you get an understanding and work hard to achieve it, go for it. +1

I'm applying now because I felt like I could improve on things like with trello, and forums, and wanted to show that. I don't remember telling players wrong commands for entertainment, but I know what I said was something bad, and I regret doing that :)

Hi, Queen.

I've only recently started seeing you around more which I think is due to you only recently coming back.

I don't know you much but based on the screenshots from pmx, you haven't come back to the server and shown a change or shown how you've matured, you've come back and pretty much immediately applied. I think you need to take some time to get involved with the community again, I don't believe this is the right time for you.

In a time where Meep's player base is at a low, from those screenshots, making it more confusing for new players is the most efficient way of getting them to log off the server and never play again. What also concerned me is you stood by while pmx was helping and had no positive input into that new player's experience.

When players see a staff member speaking to them, they are more likely to trust that person if they're new. Telling them the wrong commands could cause them to not trust you and the staff team as a whole. A staff member is someone who represents the server and if new players come on seeing this from staff members, it's not going to encourage people to stay.

Your app is okay, you have some nice detail and I like that it's split into sections and it looks like you've thought about what you've said, I just don't think this is the right time for you.

Take some time integrating back into the community, prove me wrong.

I adore you, really, you're one of my best friends and I loved you as a mod, but the same for everyone you've just only come back and I think this app is jumping the gun a bit. I know what you're capable of but this app was average at best, I know you can do better!! -1 for now sweet pea but maybe I'll change my vote !
