uhhh... What? This was based on a system of constantly farming netherwarts (i.e by the time you're done harvesting and replanting everything the place where you started is already fully grown).

I think abandoning farming altogether on an economy server is not a good ideaNote, I don't farm, but I'm saying it should be able to yield a small amount of cash for beginners. 10k an hour (working every minute the entire hour) is not a small amount. It is an abysmal amount.

If something isn't right it should be fixed. And with the current value of money, the payment for farming is so low it might even be impossible to pay off the cost of a large farm in any decent amount of time.
While i dont opt for a huge increse, it would be nice if it was atleast balanced with other professions.

The reason that this happened is:

People were taking advantage of the fact that they could constantly grind money with the farmer job. So, Klutch disabled the payment from farmer, went off and created /warp farming which is a total rip off. Now, farming is one of the least popular jobs. Understandable, but defeats the goal of every job making equal money.

The system before was too op with people being able to collect crops and expand while getting paid extremely well via the farmer job.

While I don't like not getting money for the massive amounts of farming I do, you are meant to farm and sell your items (if you are doing this at the warp meep set up you are ignorant) and I still make 25k in 20 Minutes and can go do other stuff while it regrows.

The point is not to devalue the farm products since a lot would be abused via villagers and the job economy if we used the old way. Now people have the choice to sell their product or expand and not get both. It isn't hard to sell your farm product, learn how to up arrow to your advertisement and annoy the crap out of /te with a have decent deal.

I don't usually collect it more than once an hour as I don't like continuous activity, but it is possible to make a that money.

I don't think we need money for farming, it would be awesome if the farming warp prices weren't shit, but they are. So collect valuable farm products and sell those instead of useless ones like nether watt which can only be used for potions

Right now, I can catch 1 fish and make more than selling an entire stack of melon blocks. Plus, since there is so much being grown even already, people will barely pay anything for your crops.

Selling in bulk is profitable, and small farms work too. You can make due with a farm if that's how you want to play the game and have decent minecraft knowledge
