Raspberry Pie - Tips and Tricks

Greetings!

I have been working on trashing myself some python and a few other languages and was wondering if anyone had some tips? Also, I just ordered a Raspberry Pi 3 B and it should be arriving soon. Does anyone have past experience with then and might be able to share some of the fun you can have with them, and or, some projects you may have done?

My best tip for raspberry pie is that most recipes say to bake at 325° for 30 minutes but I would actually suggest 315° for 40 minutes. Good luck !

Hey @Noahnda what kind of things did you want to do with the Pi? Here are a couple of things that I've done before:

Built a drone (requires the pi zero usually)
Small NAT servers (not good for large-scale stuff, though)
Network backdoors (sshing into a network, etc.)

So, are you interested in doing hardware stuff or software stuff?

Been getting ready to grab one of these myself to set up as a network DNS to do "pi-holing." Really useful and interesting concept, much better explained in video:

to be fair, clue revived this thread a few days ago

Update: Grabbed a couple of them and got pihole set up. Haven't seen a Youtube ad since December!

Imo the default blacklists aren't very effective, so I did some research and found plenty of other lists. Copy/paste all of these links into gravity to add them
