Ok now that you fell for the click bait title can someone explain this
Sea temples and spawn rates
@Niiicck ....How did we go from talking about sea temples to guardians making all other ebooks useless

All natural mob spawns have been nerfed. This is why dark room grinders, enderman grinders and guardian all the same have a bad spawn rate. This not only affects the EBook market making it easier for players to gain levels consistently, but also contributes to server lag and the implosion of the market of the items the mob drops. The worst of these being iron golem farms, which like all the others, has been nerfed. Also, this is the same reason spawners and fix were removed, they have no place on an eco server.

You know it's so easy to gain xp from just villager trading in general. Also, we can just make secret grinder rooms in wild and get better spawn rates... I don't have anything against the decision but there are other better ways to gain xp than guardian farming?? The sole purpose of guardian farming is for shards and crystals, not xp. Also, the majority of ebooks are obtained from villagers, so I don't think that should be a reason for denial. However, you guys have made a decision and I hope it works well :)

To be fair, finding villagers will be a whole lot harder now. They no longer spawn with zombie spawners and because they don't breed, your only hope of getting a villager is either a naturally spawning zombie villager or a villager spawn egg.

And villager spawn eggs suck. Terribly. Theyre expensive, they never give you the type you need, sometimes they spawn the stupid green ones who just stand there and grunt at you. disgusting

Also good point. Which is why further why the suggestion shouldn't have been accepted... we want the least amount of standing in one spot clicking a button being profitable, as possible.

The XP you get from a natural trading or using spawner grinder is insignificant compared to darkroom spawners or natural guardian farms. Again as I stated it would make prismarine more useless as well.

Agreed. I get much more exp from darkroom spawners and my /sethomed blaze spawners than villagers. Villagers are just good for books
