I do respect your opinion, but I don't think that fishing should be what 80% of meepers do all the time. It should be an economy server where there are various ways to make money in which all of them profit equally. This makes people think of other creative ways to make money besides right clicking on water for hours.

Fishing is a good way of making money in a new economy, fishing was around 100 per fish in the old (old) economy and fishing was something mainly new people did to get some capital so they could buy tools, open up a pwarp, etc. Basically once people get some money from fishing, they will start to use other ways of making money, If this didn't happen then all our previous ecos would've been dominated by fishing. Now Obviously the current way fishing works isn't working, because once you hit a certain level you make a ridiculous amount of money, but won't people still eventually hit a level high enough to break the eco with fishing using the new fishing values? How long will it be to someone starts making 400 meebles a fish again? What do you do then? nerf fishing more? It won't work out well. A level cap solves all of the problems with fishing without nerfing it for newbs.
