Is there anything that we, as a group, can do to help the process?

There are a few things anyone in the community can do. The first thing is be patient. Trust me, I would love if we opened up right this second, but things simply aren't done, so it'd be pointless.
Another thing is suggestions. Now is one of the best times to suggest things, because there is no economy yet that has existed with/without it, such as the Gamma eco changing when the /warp shop was adjusted. Drastic changes still need to be balanced, but it's a lot easier to do things when it won't affect the way things already working (like removing spawners in the Alpha/Beta economy).
There are several other things quite literally anyone can do that I cannot quite think of, so just remember to be imaginative, as well!
