Being from the US state of Wisconsin, I can relate. We only close anything down if temperatures hit a -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Though recently, we've had a couple 2 hour delays at school due to the freezing rain and ice-covered-everything.
This morning I watched a freshman faceplant into the snow, look around to make sure nobody saw and get back up as if nothing ever happened. I really wasn't sure whether I wanted to pee myself laughing or feel bad for him, but the look on his face as he fell was priceless.
