seems like a lot of people don't want to read the thread and therefore can't find the post i made that explains everything. i will continue to add things as updates continue to occur. please correct me if im wrong about anything or new information changes any of this information.

ranks are fine and staying
meebles are not staying
towns are not staying, but you can download them off the website (a note from jwarian, fireprotection won't be on so be wary about burning buildings)
it is unclear what perks are staying
no one knows when the server will be ready, don't ask
they are putting their focus towards towny and not minigames at the moment
there will only be one towns world, a new one
this has nothing to do with the recent blacklisting
klutch is going to be paying for backup plans out of his own pocket to ensure this never happens again (see klutch's post below for details)
the server is not open to the public, that's why there are limited people online helping rebuild it
bans will be lifted with the reset
mcmmo/jobs, bug fixes, rule adjustments, less punishments, taking suggestions

Backups are cheap. Buy a 2TB HD and create a script with a retention policy with powershell. It's not this huge expense.

I havnt talked to fuzzlr to see what his plan is at this point because ive been focusing on getting it back up for you guys asap but I bought a 6tb Hdd and have it installed on on a completely different PC with console access. Ill back up files manually if I have to but im pretty sure Fuzz has it covered.Also, @shains Thank you for doing this.
