Well, you'd have MeepNetworks -> Alpha in July 2013, a total reset. Next is the introduction of Beta, 2014, merely the addition of an extra world without a reset. Upon Gamma coming in, August 2016, the economy was restricted to Alpha and Beta, collectively known as "Legacy", and Gamma, a partial reset of the economy. Now, it is the second full reset, with the new Towns world being introduced.

My memory is a little fuzzy but I feel like there was at least one before MeepNetworks. Either that or it could be the numerous changes to spawn I'm thinking about.

No reset before meep networks, 3 different spawn changes though.

Not sure but this reset was due to lag or "eggplant".

There was another full reset a while before MeepNetworks was even a thing.
I also remember a little Rose setting the whole spawn in hell Now that I come and think of it (a different time).

The Rosenow thing was just a lava world edit and it was redone. Another incident was Mr Jones spawning withers at spawn before he quit.

Having already read this thread, and others, as far as I know nothing of this was mentioned. I guess it might be, and no one bothered to/didn't want to say it, but chances are low. So I don't believe it's coming back, but I don't have any other information from the fact that I haven't read about it anywhere. I wish this post could be more conclusive.

They are working on restarting the towny server. They have made new plugins, implemented them, and are fixing bugs and accepting suggestions. It'll be a while before it comes out.
(My words aren't the best source but I got my information from a bunch of posts)

Currently, there is nothing set in stone. We are actively working, however, to get the server up-and-running as soon as possible. Bug testing must be completed before we can roll out the server, as we wouldn't want any minor nor game-breaking glitches to be discovered and abused to illegitimate or otherwise compromise enjoyable gameplay.

As it is no longer anything confidential, as Klutch posted it on #server_announcements on Discord, I am pleased to announce that the server is nearly completed, but to ensure the best experience for the users, finishing touches are being applied. :)
