2. What should I make of it?
3. What Recorder? (Windows 10, Bandicam, etc.)

Hello, a very long time ago I made YouTube videos (they're all delisted now) and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I suggest you do too.
I'm a Mac user but a bit of research showed me that VLC allows you to record your screen. VLC is free and I doubt it will have a big watermark like Bandicam does.

As for what you could make your videos of, well you could have a towny series following your journey from when you first join a town.
