Okay, this isn't luring for heads, but is literally luring someone.

Suggestion: Making luring for evidence bannable (you will understand when you read).

I will use my real situation because I want you to see it can happen.

So I went to Dubai in gamma, after that buttfly24 saw me said I was banned and forced me to leave. A few minutes later I see in /tr by buttfly: "MasterShawn (my old ign) head for sale at /pwarp g"
I instantly went there, because my head shouldn't be on meep at all. When I went there buttfly is waiting with a sign saying "you got trolled" then said in local that I've been caught trespassing and will banned.

Idk about you, but he lured me for evidence to try to get me banned. It created a toxic situation, and made a player angry and quit.

I think this should be added to luring in the rules, because it is NOT okay to pull crap like that.

Realistically, a staff shouldnt ban you for something like that.

After all, you were trespassing in his town, but you could argue that he didn't put any signs. Nevertheless, pwarp g is owned by Dubai and you should've known not to go into Dubai property.

If you have none of your heads in meep then there is no chance that buttfly will have it so it was kind of on your side for believing something completely stupid, especially coming out of a twelve year old buttfly.

He has never asked you to use that pwarp so I believe that the decision was fair according to the rules. You could've appealed, if you didn't like your ban.

Now, I agree that luring into trespassing should be illegal because you ban someone from your town because you don't want them there and that contradicts what you are doing.

You shouldn't have been banned because the plot/town owners responsibility to note who is banned and for what (more or less). Also, you did know not to go there, but you still did... you deserve what you got if there was evidence to back it up.

But to be fair also, this opens up a lot of loopholes. There was a report a player recently where a player was dropping diamonds into towny wild to try and get people to go out into pvp.
It was denied because the player willingly walked into pvp to get the items - they did that.
I think it would have to depend exactly where the pwarp is and the players knowledge of where it is.

If I am banned from gamma and someone advertises a pwarp that is in gamma, I should not be banned for simply going to that pwarp especially if I a. Didnt know it was in gamma or b. Left after I was asked or made aware of.

Its all about context I think. If he was banned from gamma and went to /pwarp gamma, Id lean more to it being illegal. But I also think that if they left after asked once more a ban is unnecessary.

i dont think this is cause for a change in the rules but that was pretty cheap and you shouldn't have been banned lol
