+1 staff should be more open to share information with the community instead of concealing it in every possible way

Ehhh...I get your point, but I'm not completely sure that airing staff's dirty laundry will foster trust between the staff team and the playerbase. If we included demotion/resignation reasons, the meeptimes could get very ugly very quickly.

Imagine something like:

Meeptimes: "Metr0n0me was demoted for x incident, doing a bad job on a, b, and c modreqs, and being rude on i, j, and k occasions.

Me: "I totally didn't do x! It wasn't my fault! It's Klutch's fault!!"

--a few lines of random people taking sides here, and an escalating flamewar

Klutch: "You were complete and utter crap as a staff member. You never did anything properly, and you didn't help the server. Bye. Thread locked"

--2 hours later, 6 threads about "WHY DOES EVERYONE LOCK THREADS!! CENSORING!! CORRUPTION!!"

Imagine the complete and utter s***show that would go on EVERY TIME someone left the staff team for the most mundane of reasons. It's really none of our business.

edit: I could get behind simple updates like: "Metr0n0me has been demoted on 12/29/16. CluelessKlutz has been promoted to supermod on 12/30/16. Courtneyyy has resigned on 12/30/16."

I know its super difficult to find, but at the very top in big letters it says STAFF.

Most people don't check there on a regular basis unless your weird. I mean if it shows who's staff there, why can't we get an alert of what's happening. Is that not the purpose of the Meep Times? I mean we show promotions. Why not " has left the staff team" Doesn't even need to tell us whether it was a demotion or resignation.

Im just saying, if youre curious, chances are youre going to click staff before you go through all 5 recent meep times.

But for those who read the Meep Times, it is information that is helpful and informative. Nothing needs to be specific. Just a nice heads up ;)

tbf it's kind of nice to see the dates too, instead of clicking staff, realizing someone isn't staff anymore, and going "wait wtf when did this happen?"

it's not like it's that much work to add to the meeptimes either (at least just simple dates and statuses)

Im not saying I disagree with adding it, Im just saying when its stated "the community deserves to know whos staff", its very easy to find out at any time haha.

Generally its pretty obvious if you look at the dates of "omg what happen" cause there will always be one person who notices it day of or day after

Hey so on behalf on The MeepTimes staff we have to decided to add a 'Welcome and Farewell' section to the MeepTimes so that you will be aware if someone was welcomed onto the team or we said farewell to someone on the team. We will not specify why he/she left but that we hope to see them again real soon!
