Recently there have been many reports and people filing bug reports about a certain crash, in particular when they enter or have last logged in at a nether or end world.
The problem [usually] is that when you are on 1.9, your client cannot handle the textures in the nether and end as they do not exist in that client,which forces it to crash to attempt to solve the problem.
If you are encountering a crash error, particularly if it mentions bytes and packets, and/or youre constantly crashing after going into the nether or end, try changing your minecraft client to 1.10.2. You can do this by editing your profile in the lower left of your launcher.
