Hello, My name is Blue_Marlin and I have been a Meeper since 2014, In my few short years on Meep I have experienced some of the major changes and some of the smaller changes, some I love and some I hate. My biggest experience and change that I absolutely hate is Gamma, I know I know shame me now. Gamma to me has destroyed many towns in legacy and pretty much legacy altogether which has upset many people but has made a lot of people happier, To me being part of probably the largest beta town if not in all of legacy and possibly the server, I'm a town assistant in DreamCraft *applauds self* all the work that DreamCraft assistants and builders and the citizens have put into DreamCraft was a lot, many done before I ever found DreamCraft, Before Gamma DreamCraft was booming and everything was great, and now that Gamma arrived its almost nothing, this big beautiful town has gone to way less residents, active residents at that. anyways sorry for going off a bit, besides destroying Gamma or Legacy my suggestion is something that may be dumb who knows or it could make a lot of people happy, I think we should merge Gamma into legacy, okay sounds weird but if we made Gamma like Alpha and Beta are we could almost (to me) have the best of both worlds, We wouldn't have two different economies, many people talked about deleted Legacy all together so why not just merge it? make it almost one big Gamma but not erase peoples things in Legacy, this would almost be like taking Dreamcraft beta and moving it into Gamma, as well as everyone elses towns in Legacy. this may seem dumb, or may need some better thinking, it was just my thought. I honestly believe that merging them would be good for those who still play legacy, but now gamma has been introduced many people have given away their items, so it will be a reset again for them, plus, what about their balance? we can't just transfer it over because people will complain that the transfer rates should apply then, even if we do, loads of people will quit as they could lose their inventory, gamma was created for those who wanted a reset, which is why we kept legacy, to merge all 3 again would not be acknowledging those who wanted a reset +1 for the idea but -1 for how this will work/ turn out

They wouldn't lose their inventory, it would be like your Alpha/Beta inventory but adding Gamma, Bal's would be merged, so what you have in Legacy would be added to Gamma vice versa, and as for them giving away legacy items that's on them, what they have in Gamma would be available to them in Legacy, there wouldn't be no more "legacy" or "gamma" it would all be one, less confusing. less stressful, jobs would be better, economy would be better, to me it would please everyone or maybe not, who knows.

I think this was a great idea. It could upset a lot of people if they lost their inventories and stuff but so many people worked so hard on all their alpha/beta towns and then everybody just left and only plays on gamma now. This is a great idea and hope it happens to bring back legacy. +100

I happen to own a ton of spawners from legacy. How would you propose that be fixed, since in gamma there are no spawners? I perfer to keep my spawners, but under this system that wouldn't happen.

allow spawners in gamma? my proposal is to make gamma how alpha/beta used to be, only with gamma of course!

The point of the new eco was so people who wanted a reset and new eco could have a reset and the people who wanted the old worlds could stay there. We are highly encouraging people to play gamma rather than alpha/beta.
We do not want the eco or items merged. At all.

Correct.
The majority of people who were against reset only wanted to keep ahold of their towns and such. Memories, sentiments, and that whole deal.

Sooo... that's why we had this. It was a compromise.

I can tell you right now, 100000%, the eco's will not be merged in any way. Why waste all the work everyone's put into this?

it isn't wasting anyone work? you say keep towns and sentiments etc but what is a town with no people? no money? they will fall? what you guys are doing with gamma is eventually sooner than later going to destroy legacy all together and they'll get their way, it wasn't a compromise at all. you say the hard work that people put into gamma but what about the hard work people put into legacy for all these years meepcraft has been open? that was a waste. when you get online there are like 5 people in legacy and like 30+ in gamma, its nearly a slap in the face to hard working legacy players.

Why would we cater to the clear minority?
What about the work the staff and the tech have put into the implementation and the moderating and adjusting?
Why would we let 2 billion meebles into this new eco when we wanted to reset it in the first place?

why should you cater to some of the players? I know you cant make everyone 100% happy that's impossible, having gamma and having legacy is like having two different servers on 1. most play differently, I think if we all put our heads together we could pull this off and it would really work, it seems like a silly idea to some or "impossibility" but it isn't, I know many don't think I know what I'm talking about but if many could just trust me on this, the outcome could be wonderful, many people might start playing again and stay, the possibilities with merging gamma and legacy are nearly endless. I truly believe with all my minecraft heart and passion this could be awesome!

It'd personally make me happy if Gamma meebles were converted to legacy meebles and everyone kept their inventory in Gamma...

Exactly, this sums up my point of view. I worked months and months for all the money and items I have gained in legacy. Why create a new economy rendering all my hard work useless? I don't like having 2 economies at the same time. Why? Because, it is all very confusing and me, having to start all over is just something that I will NEVER do.

Look, when meepcraft updated to 1.10, everything, everything, all the hard work and accomplishments that people have reached, all that money earned, all of that, was all gone... People have moved onto Gamma. There was no point in continuing to play in legacy..

Meepcraft history will repeat itself and everyone will find out (eventually) gamma and 2 economies was useless... what happens when gamma turns into how legacy used to be? are they gonna create another one? Delta maybe? 3 economies? makes 0 sense. My point is having 2 economies is so hard to work with. I physically couldn't work for someone in gamma in return for legacy, what I feel they are trying to do is make it nearly impossible to play legacy and then legacy will fall and they'll get what they want, when instead they could merge (which isn't impossible so stop acting like it is) legacy and gamma creating 1 eco, 1 eco is going to make everyone happy. and saving legacy to merge into gamma would surly make us legacy player happy!

Ahhh Kling, haha so many people said you would be the HARDEST one to get this idea in but that's okay, I really don't see why you hate legacy so much, but having 2 economies is nonsense, it works for gamma and only gamma, if Legacy and gammas economy was brought into 1 it would be so much easier, even if it does benefit the 10 or 15 people if that that play legacy, all of our hard work, even if we didn't completely merge legacy and gamma just having 1 economy tied into legacy and gamma would be sooooooo much easier, it's just not practical to have 2. Keep an open mind.
