We are currently looking for new idea to put into the new jobs plugin. Yes, its coming soon for real this time.
The jobs system will be similar, if not a part of, the MCMMO plugin.
note: a lot of that will be disabled or changed, but we are taking the basic idea from that.
What would you want recorded and earned money off of? What kind of perks do you think would be fair for hitting certain levels of that job? What would you think needs removed? Could there be some sort of doner perk system involved?

We're focusing on this:

Ideas:
1) Keep leveling rate the same as MCMMO. With 1000+ levels with each job. However, each job level will increase pay rate only by .20% to keep it from becoming too overpaying. Cap each "job" at level 2,000 , where jobs receieve +400% bonus.
2) For all gathering skills, keep perks that you would gain with the job in the plugin. EX: Herbalism double rate. However, make that only at certain levels (Level 400+ gets double drop chance with the chance increasing per level)
3) Balance all jobs so that they gain as quickly as the Woodcutter job does now. It's a very balanced job in terms of effort to reward ratio. This means increase certain jobs and lower other jobs
4) For Acrobatics, just don't include it tbh. It can be easily exploited to be macro'd.
5) Increase jobs limit accordingly:

Citizens get 1 -> 2 different jobs
VIPs get 2 -> 4 different jobs
This pattern continues until Ultimate, where they get all 14 jobs (15 excl. acrobatics)

6) For combat skills, disable axe bonus damage skill, reduce "Iron arm" to +4 damage, and reduce Archery bonus (triple damage in vanilla is very powerful, can probably 1-shot everything including GOD ARMOR)
7) When you vote, add in the chance to get a 5-level voucher for 1 specific job or for any job of your choosing (Credit vouchers). This will incentivize voting for all people, because the reward will still indirectly benefit them in the long term.

Edit) Also add MCMMO boosters in the server shop, which increase MCMMO EXP gain temporarily. Add these boosters in wilds chest with a rare chance of occuring.

Honestly, I feel like the jobs thing is getting too complicated. We don't need people earning money on taming dogs, sadly.

We are definitely going to remove the more OP perks such as the double harvesting ones in miner and farmer, and do 100% agree with your 4th point, a lot of the cool perks are staying though (like the temporary miner speed increase? DAs cool) And I think? we're capping it at level 1000 so it'll be a 200% increase (So the total top increase is the same as current /jobs)
I like the voting voucher, I think maybe as rare as say.... a fix note? Or do you think something more common would be better?
I also like the balancing, but in some jobs I'm not sure itll work as well. Like the smelter job, its 0 effort to do the actual smelting, heh.

Please make a thing for fishing and have it be like 10-30 per fish and like 100 for rare items. I don't really know how prices are right now but I'm sure you can adjust to what's right. Fishing is one of the most relaxing things in Minecraft!! It would be cool if you could add custom items to fishing also that are super super rare (sell for a lot of $$, gives people a reason to play). Y'all can brainstorm that. Thanks.

With McMMO, you can fish up lit TNT as one of the items. Who needs relaxing when you can blow yourself up???

That's not what I meant. Who is going to fish if all you can get is TNT lol. I mean like a custom item: Meep beans that help you enchant cool things (if I recall we were going to implement custom enchantments), cool cosmetics, an hour of /fly. Something that is rare and worth spending valuable time on MeepCraft to Fish for. Every other server that has MCMMO can do the TNT thing. That's not unique.Also for the unarmed one idk if this is possible but when you kill a polar bear with your bear hands it should be called "Bear-handed!" hehehehe

I suggest allowing all mcmmo levels to be at a 2500 max so it takes longer and has a greater reward because getting that high is quite an achievement.

There are so many ways to dupe in mcmmo, have you addressed those?

And how are the meeble outputs going to be? For farmer will the rewards be the same? Less? More?

1. for hitting certain levels like milestones such as 10-20-30 etc give the person a choice of a gathering tool, like an axe or something, or whenever you level up allow a person to choose a wood, plant, or seed depending on the level they reached.

Combat
1. for archery, allow levels to be gained at a rate where you hit on a player, such as the head or mid section, giving more rewards for precise marksmanship and accuracy, this also goes for meebles earned. Also potentially add a system for new arrows being given out (Potentially damage boosters??)
2. swordsmanship rewards could be distributed by hit chain, more meebles gained the longer the chain without being hit, like in games where you have like a 96 hit count and you gain extra xp.

Misc
1. Praise the lord BAKING IS HERE! For baking its simple, allow for a certain reward for an item baked and proportion. (potentially make a buff for smelt speed or money gain if this is possible?)
2. acrobatics could gain money from falls taken by height, without death of course. DO NOT ALLOW IN SPAWN. For milestone levels give acrobats featherfalling shoes and leap potions.

I LOVE @PseudoGod 's idea for balance, as a .20 increase for level, that would balance nicely, although i dont believe there should be a cap? Make it extra hard to get to new levels, if people work for it there shouldnt be a cap, just make it super hard, like x5 the xp per level after 100. Therefore players will have to work for their money, like in the real world.

@junelawnchaired is completely right, i remember fishing with her all the time in oaklea and it literally is the funnest job ever. It got to the point where when i got on id go right to oaklea and spend almost 2 hours a day just fishing. (Also bear-handed lol i got that)

I like @junelawnchaired 's point of achievements, there should be custom ones (which will grant the prizes) that have some pun or are funny in some way like "Hot Stuff" if you make it to level 10 of the bakers job.

Thats all i really have for now. ill come up with more later :)
