I think it's just one hacker with bunch of alts joined simultaneously to try to crash the server, but he failed, as the server stayed up with 10fps. Some people were kicked, like me, and others were fine as long as they didn't go to spawn. We tried to get an admin but they all left before we were able to

Very unlikley but it could have even been the highest after CrueltyGamin knowing how fast the players joined. Highest after CrueltyGaming was 450 (I was online :)).

You sure it's not FITmc (look it up on YT) He has a series of videos doing this to all servers and yes I watch the episode where he did it to yours. Yes it was fun to watch. I was surprised that the server didn't last as long as others. Maybe you should look into that lol

Were taking care of it best we can but really "best we can" is banning every mc account that joins at that time, which is only so helpful since most of these people have like 6+ alt accounts
Basically all we can do is keep banning em and thin them out best we can
