Elytra rings for extra whizziness

Idea 1: Add rings around actual spawn and buildings which when you go through gives you a boost (which ever way you're looking). Could add in a quest involving flying a pre determined route? Pros: Extra whizzing and an increased amount of people who chill in spawn (I know I would). Cons: May take time away from techs although it wouldn't take too long to code. Idek if there are any else, if you can think of any please say.

Idea 2: Option to boost (could be a cosmetic perk for higher ranks?) around spawn whilst wearing elytras with a short cooldown to avoid spamming. Pros and cons see above

In summary lots of fun times for little price.

Extra note: Could someone tell me how to change the title of a thread or can a mod please add a h into the whizzing

I thought one of the main things needed was for players to start hanging in spawn more? Create more of a community? Instead of creating elytra parkour I think this would be a great incentive to hang around or alongside elytra parkour. I and quite a few other players I know would love to explore spawn from the sky ^.^

I love elytra rings. Boosts or not, it is a great game. I feel so free doing it...

But I had to go against this one because of the fact that you're getting a free elytra, and it might get in the way of the actual spawn without the need to make a new build for spawn. My first con is fixable, though, but it would be very hard to program, due to /home. And yes, you probably thought about having it on only in spawn world, which is a valid point, but what if the player is wearing a chestplate? The only solution would be putting it back in their inventory, but what about an enchanted chestplate or a full inventory? Its a complicated future, and I'm very sorry to say this.

My only solution would be a separate world for this game. Add it to the arcade! It would give the architects something new to do xD

In terms of the idea not to bad but it doesn't need to be that complicated you can simply boost yourself with a punch2 bow

Im an archer myself and it is very hard to do that (though I think its easier with elytra, haven't tried it yet). It would also be easier for new/poor meepers.
