You'd have a good time there, but chances are there will be other survivors with the same idea, and frankly, they might not take too kindly to sharing.
Also, chances are it's still packed full of marines and THEY'LL not let you in, since you're likely not cleared for access.
You're better off at a wholesale market such as Costco or Sams club. Large, concrete walls, huge supplies of well preserved food and water, and best of all, zombies can't get in without a costco membership card! Jokes aside however, there will probably be many others doing the same thing. Instead, I would recommend going to the warehouse that supplies said retailers. Now, you have forklifts that you can fortify as a means of transportation, fuel, generators, hardware tools and building materials, wooden palates for barricades, and, of course, the huge amounts of food and water (maybe ammunition if you live in Texas).
