Resetting the server would set a precedent of resets in the future. If we were to reset the server now, players would realize that the server could reset any time in the near future (in other words, people would say: "it reset a few months ago, what would prevent people from resetting it now?") Therefore, the server environment wouldn't be conducive to community building, as people simply wouldn't really put any effort into the server. (Again, "It reset a few months ago, why even try to put effort into building/talking/not being toxic when the server will just be reset in a few months?")
