over easy is when the runny yolk is encased within the cooked egg white
sunny side up is when the egg looks like a "rising sun" where the yolk and part of the white is runny (v hard to make this way)

No, it doesn't taste the same. Sunny side up has nice, liquid yolk, while the yolk in easy over is dry and crusty.

No? Easy over is for people who like egg whites best, and like their egg yolks tasting like burnt peanut butter. The entire point of easy over is dry yolk.

Not in my experience, I guess people (entry level chefs) don't understand this, or can't pull it off. I have ordered easy over before and it did not have runny yolk, I guess leading me to believe that's the way it was meant to be prepared. I would have ordered it on different occasions if I knew it had runny yolk. Moral of the story is don't order over easy at a restaurant you are not familiar with, I guess.
