What do you guys think? will player count ever increase again? Without ads, I don't think we can drastically attract new players. Tbh, without many people participating in the eco, I don't find the server enjoyable.

we get 100 3 times a month, It is better than right after EULA hit, but it still sucks.

The biggest problem, in my opinion, is the lack of activities. Once you get the top rank and own a massive town with millions in the bank, there's not much more to do except go for staff. Ads won't do any good if we can't get anyone to stay. Again, in my opinion, I think development should be top priority

Actually, the first few days after EULA had more people. My theory for this is people wanted to test things; see how much things had changed, then left when they realized they weren't getting those perks back.

I ment in the following weeks, we actually were quite regularly getting 200 people a week before EULA. so sad.

you can't do that in all situations. you can't give everybody false hope that we're doing better when we really aren't. it's good that you're enthusiastic, but rn we shouldn't really be proud of where we are at. if it seemed like we (players AND staff) were really trying and we had a noticeable increase, that's something to be proud of and that's looking on the plus side. but rn, nobody really seems to be trying to increase the player count, and there's really no plus side to that.

The reason I don't play is generally just because I have nothing to do..
Like i'd build a massive farm, but not rly much profit.
Other farms are nerf'd so I don't see a point in making them.
And generally just nothing to do..
Oh and pvp ist kaput.

Things I notice about this graph:

It's a summer and these are the numbers we have right now. When summer ends for the majority of players, these numbers will undoubtedly be smaller.
The playerbase is basically gone after maintenance and goes back up ~4:00 AM server time.
The most active day of the week is Thursday and Friday where it occasionally peaks 100 players. The other days seem to decrease as they are further away from Friday (Monday is the least active day).
There is a noticeable decrease in players from May 2016 and July 2016 (But I need to get a pic of May's player count to verify this).
Last Week's graph is beaten by the current Week's graph line in some days but beaten in others, which doesn't necessarily show growth in the server.

Summary: Something isn't right.

Honestly I don't think the player count will increase much. It's summer and people have time to play, yet (in my time zone) there is usually only 17-21 players online and maybe 1/4 of those players are afk at their grinders lol

If we want to increase the player count then I think either a towny/eco reset or adding mini games that people will actually play, would do it. Make it harder to earn money/getting rare items (ffs /warp shop grr). Give people a purpose to play. Because at the moment, the only purpose for me to get on, is to chat and build in creative with my little brother whom I recently gave an interest for meep, now he comes online everyday but i'm sure once he can't find anything new to do, he'll get bored and go back to playing Counterstrike.

there's a possibility that once skywars is open people will play and stay. obviously it's a high demand minigame right now, especially for me, and now since it's coming to meep it's getting ten times better.

Every time im on the server im welcoming new players but alot of them do not stay long. However some do seem to stay and I have seen the servers average player count growing ever so slightly. I do believe this server can become what it use to be and maybe even be better we just got alot of work to do now since the eula. Need to figure out a way to add cool and interesting perks to encourage players to want to donate to the server. I do not think the server is dead its just in a rut and giving up on it will not help. This is my view point about the server and nothing will change it. Everyone has their opinions and this one is mine ^_^
