Can't log on

When I try to log into Meep it kicks me with the message of
"Connection lost"
"zPermissions failed to initialize"
"[Back to title screen]"
Am I banned? Is Meep down? Just a bug? (I am in 1.8.9)
Also, I didn't really know where to put this, sorry if its the wrong place

This seems like a 'common' problem since yesterday. At least two other people have reported that they are experiencing the same issue:

Unfortunately it seems like nobody came up with a resolution yet

Yo chances are its a faulty permissions.yml lol that can screw the whole server over
