Heyo heres an update:
I'm still homeless, I've been living in a shelter now (but I had to move out of my first one, since they only allow temporary stayers) since school started and I didn't want to live in my car all the time. Still (unsuccessfully) looking for a job, been turned down for 10 jobs since my last post. I had another infection incident with my throat that left me bedridden for about a week and on antibiotics.
But other than that I'm doing great! Thank you all for the support!

Life isn't fair, and sometimes you're just dealt a sh*t hand. I learnt that when I got diagnosed with Crohns Disease a few months ago. You've just got to keep fighting, and in the end you'll come out victorious on the other side.
I apologize for the differences we've had in the past.

I'm necroing this post because I'm still homeless.

I didn't update because when I was still in my last homeless shelter, my computer that I had built before everything happened got stolen from where I was storing it, plus someone at that homeless shelter stole my (where I'm typing this from) laptop, but I got it back after I informed the police and I got it back after a while.

I'm more upset about my computer being stolen, because it was $2,000 and I had worked for that money. I have a new job but I don't know how long their gonna keep me, they're starting to harass me about being mute so I don't know. I managed to talk to an apartment manager and I'm seeing if they can get me a low-rent apartment until I get a steady job.

Both parents don't want me. My dad is already dating again and she has a daughter that he claims is his own now. Mom isn't responding to any of my messages or Facebook posts directed at her.

Hopefully everything is up from here.

It's been a long 5 (almost 6) months since I became homeless, and I'm gonna apologize for the distance I have had with you all and the complaining I did. I know and understand that other people are in way more worse conditions than I am, but it all just came crashing down on me, so I'm sorry about that.

I got my computer back, but one of my hard drives was stolen. There wasn't anything on it yet so it's cool.

I don't know you really, but I'm sorry you're going through this and I actually almost cried when reading this thread. You seem like a pretty cool person. I just don't know but it must be hard to go through something like this. Hopefully this all works out for you. Yeah, sorry if my sentences aren't really coming together very well but I probably take a lot of stuff for granted. Good luck!
