hello
ok so this is going to be very poorly structured and probably make no sense because i just woke up
so i havent been watching americas got talent recently... because it annoys me now. These are some reasons why:
Ok so WHY DOES SIMON COWELL THINK THAT THIS IS THE SAME THING AS AMERICAN IDOL? Simon's always putting his hand up when he doesnt like something. That's what the buzzer is for simon. And then he thinks he can just tell people to sing different songs. I don't care if thats what makes them pass, or even win the whole show. It's americas got talent, so it has a different system.
The next reason is kind of short: All of the judge's golden buzzers (excluding the guest judges) are SINGERS. I just dont understand. What is so great about them? Yes, of course they have talent. Lots of it. But so do a lot of people on the show who arent singers.
Also, every act that takes a judge on stage and humiliates them gets to pass. Doesnt matter how bad they are at their singing or dancing or whatnot. If they humiliate a judge, the other judges are like YA U WIN THE WHOLE SHOW BC I WANT TO KEEP ON SEEING MR JUDGE GET HUMILIATED !1TROLOL!
Last but not least, and the most irritating, is that the judges are more likely to say yes to you if you have a ~tragic backstory~. You had some sort of serious illness? YOU AUTOMATICALLY MOVE ON YAYAYAYAY !1 and its all emotional and stuff. i dont care if i sound heartless for saying that. If somebody with the same exact talent and just as high of quality didnt have any tragic backstory about shark attacks or hangliding incidents, then the judges would just be like "ok cool yeah u move on."
Alright so by now everyone probably thinks i dont know what apostrophes are and i only have the ability write run-on sentences. Oh well. idk how to end rants correctly.
