They used to have a constant 500 players and now they're struggling to stay at 100. Their cheapest donation features went from $20-60, which was quite ridiculous. The economy is awful. Try asking a question in chat there and let me know how long it takes for someone to answer it. Andrew was the original owner, and after 3 years of running it, he one day just threw his hands up and tossed it over to his (then) Head Admin, giving her a 24 hr video on how to run the server and leaving for quite a while. Any discussion about the incidence in chat would get you temp banned, and that's when they lost a good 300 players.
There's a lot more to the story, but most of it is personal so if you'd like to know, you can msg me sometime and we'll talk about it. Not bashing the server, but it's changed so much since I first joined (But as has Meep, for many here.) and I feel like MeepCraft is doing much better off than they ever will again. Though, if they're managing to convince their new players that they're successful and keeping them around, kudos to them on their resilience.
