How to stop texture pack from "corrupting"?

Using the meep pack, every once and awhile the texture pack automatically turns back to the normal mc resource pack and trying to re-use the meep pack it gets weird; signs are stone-textured, farm animals are crazy looking and other weird things like skeletons being dressed in hoodies and jeans
(I just keep uninstalling and reinstalling the pack but I was wondering if there was another way to fix this)

Are you using 1.9? Switching to 1.8 might solve the issue ;)

Mine was doing this also until I disabled the Meep Texture Pack. It might not be the same for you, but you could try it and see if that makes a difference
