Removing rank perks is definitely not good news for people who've contributed to the server, but we are planning on adding these remarkable EULA-compliant features to VIP, Premium, Exclusive, Elite and Supreme to make up for it:

We are aware that many people will be upset because of these changes. However, we are looking forward to moving forward and running a server that will be more fair and fun for all players. We are very excited to take a step back, add all the new features, and improve the rank system as a whole. Thank you for supporting the server.

Can we get a status update from something/someone other than a tabloid?
Where are these promised additions? Where is our money going?

Someone suggested I read trello, quite a well structured document, clearly the supremods of the past have laid a beautiful foundation for people to build on, but after reading it over and over for weeks I was lead to an even bigger fear... There is enough junk on there to occupy techs for over a year(there are some old things there...). 1.9 support? 1.10, 1.11? Sounds like we should hire a tech right?A completly bs estimate by me of 2-3 FULL TIME paid techs and ~all of summer.

I started a great thread on a new way to fund/accelerate this process through honest donations not customer purchases(ranks) but I was met with this response: "Denied, we currently do not feel this is needed." -Munkee.
HOWEVER: Earlier in the thread that same community member was in favor for finding a way to fund techs. Since she used "we", I must deduce that her will was broken and like hundreds of staff before, 3-4 people said no in a closed room and she was forced to do her job as staff and support the server even if it means going against one's own beliefs.

I even specified that I wanted input from you @Fuzzlr directly, and a helper closed it...
Who is actually making the decisions for the server we paid/would pay to support?
Do we not deserve to know that?

So, with all that given....
I want to be optimistic about meep's future like I was when I read actual words from the owner/operator nearly two months ago.

Can I/we get an update thats not hot air like the promises made in meeptimes is?(sorry but saying we added something to trello is the same to me as saying creative is coming soon*2k13).

Sorry but the language used in that Eula thread painted a picture of a fuzzlr who was truly upset about the changes and honestly wanted to stay involved. Yet there is a visible lack of interest on your part in making sure your own team is actually capable of doing their job. They seem to think they are, since they denied my suggestion of physically paying you money to hire techs..;/ Either that, or you know what your plans are......which brings us back to:

Where is our money going? What is the status on hiring techs to clean the bakers dozen of issues on trello?
Give us a roadmap that isn't a candy land road named trello.

Where are you? We need you more then ever.

didnt you hear? @Fuzzlr only came for the EULA stuff. after that he disappeared again. like he ALWAYS does. expect those gadgets to be done by techs as soon as they can. but dont expect them from fuzzlr.

The problem is that the techs work on smaller, more useless plugins (MeepFriends, @player's name, events, etc) instead of the big changes that we were promised. Gadgets have been promised to us for almost two months, yet, the community hasn't even received an update from anyone. Skywars is supposedly finished (don't quote me on this) and yet it's still not released, and we have no update on Capture the Snowman, which has been promised 1+ months ago.

@Fuzzlr even you just logging in for 10 minutes a day would make the community a lot more satisfied. You not logging in shows that you honestly don't care for the server anymore/ lost all interest in the growth of the server.

You probably know that the server is declining, due to the large mass of "Meepcraft is dead/dying" threads from old players.

Let's be honest they are basically gadgets.

You could go either way. I don't think they're gadgets because they require in-game currency to purchase, and have actual use, not just for "fun".

I haven't been in game for a while so excuse my lack of knowledge, could anyone tell me if any of the gadgets listed in the OP's quote have been added yet?

Also reading through those makes me feel like they're just joke items with no real way of being implemented and no practical use even if implemented.

A status update would definitely be nice.

Not one gadget has been added besides the Grappling Hook (which isn't really that good) and the Glass Pic which is pretty stupid.

actually, the grappling hook, glass pick, and the villager tamer aren't the gadgets. they are a stand alone custom suggestion, /gadgets.

I legitimately want fuzzlr, the server owner to:

A: Sell the server to someone who has the time/capacity to maintain it(we are not maintaining/we are on life support).

B: Put up the money now and hire people, plan a final campaign this fall/winter to make one last attempt to salvage the community so we can ride onis' free hosting till Microsoft kills private servers with windows 10.

C: Spend more than one night engaging with us.

This is the option I would prefer. As much as they do, we must remember the current Techs are all volunteers. Generally, a volunteer doesn't put in as much time. Not to degrade volunteering in any way, but it's true. A volunteer usually has something else they do, and are generous enough to put any time in at all. They certainly don't gain anything besides experience.

To the newer members of the community, he seems like something of a myth; a hero of an age long ago. Not everyone has been here since MN. Speaking from personal experience, whenever someone mentions the name "Fuzzlr," new players ask, "Who's that?" Kinda embarrassing when you have to tell people who have been here a month who owns the server.

But he won't because:

A:Why not just ride it out and collect the money?
B:Why sell the server when he can just ride it out? The community will keep giving money because they don't want to see it fall.
C:Schooling, vacation, other apps/programs hes been working on.

Fuzzlr started with meepcraft but it almost seems like hes left meepcraft in the rearview mirror.

Also, I made a suggestion privately to Fuzzlr on his skype, he ended up accepting it. This suggestion would totally make buying supreme or having legend worth it 100%, letting legend have something supreme doesn't have, but giving supreme something too! It hasn't even been on the meep news and it's been months..

I also discussed fly with him. He said making it high priced on server for meebles then giving legend it back permanently doesn't go against EULA, BUT he also said, "I have been thinking that removing fly could be a good thing for the server, but I agree that possibly making an expensive buyable option is also a possibility," meaning that he believes it could be good for the server to remove it altogether..

What about what we PAID for?

This was brought up by me some time ago and a helper or some staff person asked me not to talk about my private convos with Fuzzlr because he might not appreciate that. :| I'm starting to see why.

My idea wasn't mentioned on MeepTimes, or anywhere else by him.

I've started spending my money torwards an UN NAMED server, and no; that's not advertising and also does not go against the rules to say. Why? Meep isn't pulling through. This server needs to desperately be revived.

How about when you're done take some time specifically for helping the server? Like a vacation from a lot of other things and pay attention to us. "Oh, he can't do that. He has school and-" then why have a server? If you can't focus some time- and I mean real good time- on the server then don't have it at all.
