Copy & Paste - Give the players with towns the ability to copy and paste their town into the new world?

By reset, I mean world reset. Not eco reset. combine both A and B into one.

Maybe add something like /warp storage. Since some towny mayors might not want to copy and paste but that puts the residents of that town at a disadvantage. Thus they should be able to store their stuff somewhere safe for the reset.

It's an option. so not every town will be copy and pasted in.

I say complete reset, towny and eco. Let players sell stuff and then give them a percentage of that for the new towny.

Can you add it? Since that idea is kind of dependent on the idea of copy/paste and the whole towny resetting thing.

If eco was just reset everyone would turn all their money into valuable items (diamond etc) thus rendering it pointless

I do hope you realise the overworld has been infinite since February 2010. If you're talking about meeps border limit who's to say they can't increase it if required?

It's been long overdue and whilst I wish it wouldn't happen it's best for the server that it does. +1

What else do you suggest? Why isn't it necessary? As I'm typing this there are 98 players on meep. Meep used to peak at 1000 and now it's 100 (if we're lucky) when I come on in the "off times" I'm lucky if there are 20 on. Now tell me meep is just as good as it was a year ago and it's "

I would be for a partial reset. Copy and paste Towns A and B into one world, but when a mayor chooses to copy a world, they can copy the biomes their town is in, keeping the terrain the same. Alternatively, we could allow a random world to generate, and let mayors pick where to paste, therefore choosing the land themselves.

Copy and pasting wouldn't be as easy as you think, an admin would have to use an external program such as mcedit for that and with the amount of towns there is..I highly doubt them doing that
