Introduction: About Me:
Hello! I'm Julian, or as you know me, jmw4. I enjoy recreational sports (such as biking and swimming) and being outside because to me, they seem more like actually doing something rather than running around throwing balls at each other. I love playing the piano as well and I can even play songs by ear. Of course, I also like playing games on the computer, like Minecraft, Slither.io, and more! They give me something to do and to interact with people around the world. People tell me I am very smart, in fact, this year, I got accepted into AVID (a college prep class) after an interview.

My Meep Life:
I didn't really know anything about servers or playing online in Minecraft. My friends kept telling me about the servers they played on, and they told me how to connect to one too. I then understood. I didn't know any servers, though. So, I Googled "minecraft servers" and found a list of servers. Meepcraft was #1. I put in the IP and joined! March 11, 2015 is the day I officially joined. I was welcomed by a few people and I beat that tutorial in about 4 tries! I was then greeted to the spawn When I saw the community chatting about things in global, I really wanted to be included. Later, I started talking in global a lot more, and a lot of people ignored me. I thought that I should just give them time because I just joined the conversation and they're not used to me yet. And look at me now, I have VIP and a lot of people know me! My passion for Meep has grown throughout the months I first played. I have actually gotten to know the community, rather than other servers. I go on these other servers and no-one ever talks, and when they do, it’s mixed-up and confusing. Meep has a gem that is unique than any other servers, and that’s it’s wonderful community.

Why should you be Helper? Well, I dedicate myself to the community of Meepcraft and how wonderful it is. I love helping people and it feels great to! It kind of reminds me of school, and how in class when the teacher asks for an answer, people have no idea and I'm the one to shout it out. I feel proud and confident when I help someone. Everyday on Meep I see people ask questions, and shout out the answer. I try to always make people feel welcome and have fun in the process. Everyday in real life, I see homeless people on the streets or dogs stranded in there cars in the blazing heat, and it would be a pleasure to help them. I also see the awful, bad things happening everyday on Meep, like hackers, fights, and people being mean. It makes me feel angry that there are people who want to ruin other people's times on this community. I want to stop them! Why stop the fun and have it all to yourself? There's no reason to! It needs to stop. A Minecraft server needs to be a welcoming community, not a server to hurl insults at people. I try my best to stop fights and to stop bullying because it's unfair. At school, I am willing to be strong and stand up for people, so why not do it on Meep, too? I don't want people to feel sad. I am strong, confident, happy, welcoming, mature, and willing to help those in need and to stop the bad things from appearing on this server.

What are your weaknesses? 2 weeks - Now, I know the "every 2 weeks" thing will be an issue. It's a private reason why this happens, although sometimes, I might be able to come on at times I don't usually come on at. But I would really like to try out for this opportunity as hard as I can.

Confusion - I get confused easily, and sometimes I will not understand things correctly, or not know what a word means; something in that area.

Fast typer - I'm still learning to use home row to type and all that, and I type really fast, so sometimes when I speak win chat whatever I said will look like gibberish. I'm trying very hard to not do that and I think getting Helper will get me serious on this.

Annoyed - Of course, everyone gets a little angry or annoyed. I am sometimes made fun of or dissed/flamed at myself, and that gets me upset but I usually just ignore it and don't let it get to me. I usually keep my anger on the inside and don't let it out. After a little bit, it'll fade away.

TeamSpeak Activity - I've noticed lately I've been going on Teamspeak a lot more than usual, but haven't been on for a while. I'm pretty sure it'll become a habit.

Okay, here's what I see. I see a LOT of similarities between you and me when I was helper the first time. We all know how bad that went lol. I think you are very dedicated and determined to get helper, but I don't think you are quite there maturity wise. The reason I see similarities is because I think you will act a lot like me the first time you would get helper. You would be very timid and too afraid to ask for help. We look for very outgoing and upfront personalities. The way to improve this is to just go out of your comfort zone. Try to get noticed more. Show that you can be those things. I also think your weeknesses aren't very good. They are all irrelevant besides the confusion one. You need to be honest with these. That's the key! Your application besides that section is actually really good though. You clearly put in effort which is something we really want on the staff team. I just want to make sure you won't end up like my first time as staff. Try to act more like staff. Go out of your comfort zone and help people and be outgoing. I am a +/- on this app. I will change if I see the improvement I want!

Sorry! -.5 All in all, I sense a lot of potential, just maybe not this time around.

So far, this is what I've observed;
Activity: In-game: 6/10
Teamspeak 3/10 (that doesn't really matter though)
Forums 4/10

Helpfulness:
Seen you help once where three people answered the same question and you answered third then claimed responsibility for the thanks even though you probably finished typing after the first message was sent. Idk, something just seemed a little off. Just keep in mind you don't need to answer all questions, and you don't need to get everything right. Part of leading is realizing your mistakes and letting others come out first. All things considered, you answered the question correctly and deserved thanks :) (Re-reading, that was a bit harsh and strict; sorry!!!)

Your application was a bit all over the place, wasn't organized too well and you tended to repeat yourself.
- its ok to open up about weaknesses you have such as banning friends. Great job saying what you'd do to overcome these things though

Maturity isn't much of a issue I mean its great to know when and when to not be goofy and I think you know where to draw that line.

You remind me so so much of myself the first time I tried to get helper. I constantly tried to help in global and I was nice, but on my application I did NOT focus on my weaknesses, and I see that here. Being a fast typer isn't a weakness really, typing fast is actually kind of good as a helper sometimes (in my case no sometimes it isn't) but you can ask questions to get done. Better weaknesses are as follows, your weaknesses don't give me lots of info as to why they are actually BAD and why they relate to you. Look at accepted apps and interview apps and look at their apps and weaknesses. here are some good ones.
Emotions- Are you sensitive? What happens in a case when someone tries to hurt you emotionally? Why?
Annoyance- I see this one in your app which is good, but you didn't fully cover why its an issue for me. Give me lots of detail.
Anger- Do you get angry over small things? what upsets you?
Self absorbed- Not saying you are of course! But do you put yourself above the community? Do you think you're better then other people? Are you mean in these cases? How can you improve.
On weaknesses I judge apps by seeing how FULL AND COMPELETE they are, be COMPLETELY HONEST and don't leave out any details, that's a big pet peeve for me, I love to see honestly and as a team we look at how you are looking to improve, you did not do this in your application
I see potential in everyone, but I really don't like the constant "Mini modding" I guess, it bugs some people. Ill admit I was like that too but lots of people get annoyed and upset by it. You say it exactly like a staff member would say it, and I guess you show a lot of confidence which is AWESOME! This isn't huge for me but I wanted to highlight it.
You seem very timid as @adlovesdogs says and I don't think you're willing to ask for help because you want to keep the rep of "Im applying for helper" it is NOT bad to ask questions as that is one of the only ways you will succeed. I appled nearly 6 times before I got helper, constantly improving on what I needed too.
You are only mature in certain situations as I can see, usually only when helping someone, I can goof off too, like bad sometimes, but sometimes it gets to where its crossing the line.

My best advise is to create a fuller, cleaner application and don't be offended by what people say on this app, we want you to improve on some things before they want you to be accepted.

You are active in game. Amd I'm pretty sure I've seen you on ts on more than one occasion but we haven't talked which I find really weird! Since I don't know you all too well lets focus on your application.

You seem to have completely pure intentions which is an admirable quality
I like the structure of your application more thought and clarity could be put into each section

From other comments and the little I've seen of you I have no reason to believe immaturity will be an issue.

If you want we can play together sometime so I'll be able to give a more in depth review of your readiness for a staff position! I currently see no negatives from you apart from what zoe said so keep working, you will do great!

I can see that you put alot of time and effort into this app. I think that you are up for the job and could help the community. Although you may seem young you seem young everyone seems to put people down on there age even if they are really mature but only 12.
